It's looking like www.serenitymovie.org isn't up --
(and therefore my forum isn't up)
Does anyone know if they closed the site? I haven't been able to get in for a few hours.

This one is working, but maybe it's completely different. Oh, now I see that this one is .com and you listed .org. Sorry. 
I did try to get to the .org through your link and I couldn't get anything.

I've vistied there several times today, the last time being just about five minutes ago. I also just clicked the link in your first post and it worked fine for me.

You might be seeing a cached page. I get nothing. Looks like the site is down. Probably just a server malf. I'm sure gossi'd let us know if there was anything permanent in the works.
