Clarksville, Tennessee, but I work in Nashville. I've converted quite a few at work. I have all the episodes in one form or another, so it's simply getting someone to watch one or two episodes, and then, they are hooked. Then they are mad at me because they can't see more. So, I'm spreading a general dislike for Fox Television.

Not really, consitering it only took me 15 minutes less to drive from my apartment by the airport to the offices in Brentwood. Before this job I worked for a computer repair company and I would drive all over TN. One day I had a repair in Cookville, then Nashville, and then Pulaski, then back home to Nashville.

Yes, Flagler College! And it was so long ago that I posted that message...talking about the beginning of the semester and now I'm on holiday break. Good ideas both, about the episodes! Shall we petition?

The development in Gainesville is ongoing, but most of it is suburban, like neighborhoods and such. But there are still some nice, out of the way places around. :)

Hi to the rest of the "Up North"! I'm from Michigan and, as a fellow Michigan FFF pointed out, there is a Canton in Michigan. A thorough search of Canton, however, has not turned up a single mudder or Jayne statue.

And a big "grrrr" to everyone somewhere warm. Today, with the windchill factor, it's -13 here.

That may have been me mentioning the Canton, Mich., though I think I put that in my profile, not on one of the boards. I'm from the Detroit area, currently living in Ypsilanti, which is right next to Canton.

Canton, Michigan isn't anything like Jayne's Canton, though. Very gentrified and overbuilt. It is the quintessential White Flight, USA. Yucky place. Only time I ever go there is if I or my family need an urgent care facility. It's the closest one to us since the one at St. Joe's in Ann Arbor went 100% emergency room.

hmmmm.... I've been wondering. Isn't every place in America in the middle of nowhere unless it is a major city. Hell, I think most of the land in America isn't even used (well at least that is what New York State is like; farmland, forests, mountains, hills, and valleys as far as the eye can see; yeah, New York might have one of the biggest cities in the world but it is ten times that size covered in all the above.)
