As Inara showed the crew Kaylee's "Companion makeover," Jayne was left speechless, Wash remembered he was married to a woman who could kill him with her pinky, and Simon fainted due to lack of blood to the head.

Normally I'd agree with you but to tell the plain truth I don't think my entry this time around was that great. Sure it's quite a chuckle but it does depend on knowledge of several fairly obscure cultural references from the 30s. Some people just might not be getting the full humor value.
