See seniorita.... I've gotten Joey from friends and Chris Cornell before... probably a few others... I got one of those familiar faces too, depending on my look of the week. My family laughs because I pretty much look different at every family function I've gone too. From bald hair to hair down to the middle of my back, to big bushy beard to goat to no facial hair to 135 and scrawney to 190 lbs and musclebound and don't get me started on my clothes.

A play called 'A Company of Wayward Saints' - not terribly well known but I did it as my 2nd year production at the National Theatre... it's based on 'Commedia Del'arte' - the traditional roles of theatricals throughout history - in case you can't tell I am one of the 'lovers'...

Ok, this pic came about b/c my old boss (just quit) wanted a pic of me on his phone so he could actually see who was calling. Also, this was at the end of what turned into a 4-5 hr meeting. RIMG, unfortunately, I had to leave D*C Saturday night. I missed the Shindig, the costume contest, and everything that happened on Sunday. Grr.
But I am happy that both Summer and Alan seemed genuinely pleased to pose for photos with all the fans. They seem more 'real' than most of the stars there.

Very shitty about having to leave Saturday, that's probably why I never got to meet you. I was at my brother's saturday morning until about 5 or so, so I wasn't around much for the day(s) you were there (I passed out drunk Friday right after asking River a question in the first panel, 2 pints of Jack in 6 hours [Washie tells me I took a swig right before asking the question]).

As for the posing for photos, they were the only actors there with a line more than even 3 people long when I was there. Someone needs to paint that picture for FOX and Universal (on that note, does anyone have any pics of a long line you had to stand in to meet them?)

My roommates from this year (ItsaWash, FireFlyGal, nevis, Zenngrrl) and one or two others are already planning and possibly reserving rooms for next year (you are welcome to room with us if looking for a spot). I plan to be there for as much of it as I can, and hopefully I will have some caffeinated candy beer ready by then.

Ah, RIMG, let me clarify; I'm not sly... My wife and I attended D*C and roomed with several friends. Saturday night, an hour or so before the Shindig, the wife informed me she no longer wanted to be the wife (the divorce will be final by the end of October). This promptly screwed up the rest of the weekend for me, as I was not really in the right frame of mind to be mingling with fellow Browncoats. That is why I said I would be single (so no one could divorce me halfway through D*C), and without a large number of roommates (because I had to wait four hours on them before we could get on the road).

I hope that makes more sense.

I do think that I would rather room with Browncoats next year. Y'all are the real reason I went, and I did not get to spend that much time with anyone.

RIMG, ah. Sometimes I can be slow in getting things. I did not know if you were aware of the situation, and in re-reading my initial post, it did come across as a somewhat scary proposition. So, yes...thanks for understanding!

And I would be interested... We had six jammed into a Marriott room, and it was messy, uncomfortable, and impossible to move around without kicking someone else's stuff. As time draws closer, I will definitely throw my lot in with y'all, if it works out that way. Thank you for the offer!
