Rather than post on the old thread, which can be found at http://www.fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=2&t=24329 I've chosen to start a new one, as it'll be quicker to load. Plus it's an excuse for another forsaken thread and we can never have too many of them.

So pull up a seat at the bar, or if bar stools aren't your thing, there's plenty of sofas, bean bags and hammocks to relax on.

Edit: Since this is a forsaken thread, it needs a pic to start it off, but all I could find was an old WoW wallpaper.

It was either that or Boris, who's blackmailed me into including him anyway.

If you find yourself getting too worked up about stuff that isn't real (RP Threads etc), then go outside, breathe in some fresh air and try feeding the ducks. (Because ducks don't care about your politics, religion, skin colour, choice of music or even your haircut. They like everyone, provided you bring them food.)

*runs in and throws herself down in a bean bag!!* "ooopf! - hey Nico!! How are you? Could I please have one of those Adelaide Hills Eye Openers?"

*looks around the pub*

"I like the hammocks and bean bags Nico... but it isn't quite the same without Kelkhil is it? I know he's busy - but I hope he gets some time off for good behaviour!"

1: Doing good, it being a friday night and all.

2: sure thing, I've lined some up on the bar for the early risers.

3: Yeah, I know, I'll do the best I can to help look after the place until he returns.

Mornin' drinkers.

Early Friday morning and also a payday for me, plus I had a really good night last night working the bar, which is just icing on the cake.

* pulls a large mug of Blue Moon for himself, adorning the rim with several fresh orange slices

* hooks up a hammock beside the bar, ready to make drinks for any who want them (unless Nicodemus wishes to continue, this being his idea and all)

Sure, I like to try new things. It does come from oranges, right? Australian orange juice isn't a name for something weird is it? Just checking.

it is purely oranges in the orange juice. What is says, is what it is. Unlike "100% Australian Beef" which McDonalds use in their burgers (it's a trademarked name, has no bearing at all on the contents, which i think is beef and beef-substitute brought in from south america).

Yes, labels can definitely be deceiving: like a caesar salad does not have any of Julius or Augustus in it, and a hot dog has no dogs (well, hopefully).

I dunno about that last one, some of the less trustworthy brands can taste a bit...odd.

With most things, store-brand is ok, but on things like hotdogs (and some others, sodas and munchies come to mind) it has to be a known/trusted name.

Pretty good, thanks. Working hard over here! Although we're also a little freaked as quite a few ambulances, fire trucks and garda cars have streaked past our centre with their sirens blaring. There's nothing on the news, so we've no idea what's going on! At least it seems to be away from us. How 'bout you? How are you today?

Just thought I would pop in and make sure you all ain't robbing me blind

Actually I had a spare minute so I figured I would say Hey and make sure that someone here remembered my name. Still got alot to do today and with a short day at that (daughter's first school carnival is today and I am taking a few hours off) So hopefully I will get some free time later to check back.

Until then keep up the good work Nico and there might be a job for you when I get back

Well the first thing you should know is that it's short for a c**k s**king cowboy (& they've been around forever - well before 'Brokeback Mountain')... they are shots with half butterscotch schnapps then a layer of Baileys on the top half... divine and so very smooth! *licks her lips*... anyone else? ...Tristan? Is this what you call "counter culture"?

*smiles smugly to himself at multple layer wordplay*

There's US and OZ, Cowboys and Nipples, Hiatus and Lowatus (I thought it was cute, DTH), right and left-handed drinking for VE, a baby for Maximus, and not one for MSG (although I'm confused by the "Happy Dance"; thought you wanted one), and of course, Kelkhil's bar itself with Kelkhil as a "patron".

Butterscotch IS the greatest flavor ever invented. So keep 'em coming, Nico the great fill-in barkeep, by whatever name you choose to call 'em until I break the place up again.

Oh, and Kelkhil, if you're still about, thanks for installing the trapeze bar from the rafter. I now have a place to hang from in comfort. So when someone tells me to drink up, I can!!

EDIT: Oh, and Maximus Mudder's Milk is on me. We were going to toast earlier anyway. And, hell, Give MSG whatever she wants. My feet are coordinated but I'll join her happy dance if she's willin'.

The coke bear doesn't pull under-handed stunts to get close to all the 'hot chicks', such as sinking an inflatable dinghy in order to be rescued, or invite all the guys to bring their girlfriend's around to his place form valentine's day with the tv showing the rugby behind the girls in order for the guys to watch the game whilst appearing to be caring.

Jonny - love the video clip.

Irish Carbomb: Half a pint of Guinness, plus a shot glass that is half Bailey's and half Irish whiskey (I like Jameson's, personally). Drop the shot into the half pint of Guinness and chug immediately. Kinda tastes like chocloate milk.

The pipe is filled with my favorite organic substance, my feelings on which are expressed by the late Bill Hicks in my signature.

Not meaning to offend anyone's alcoholic prowess, but Buttery Nipples are pretty much one of the weakest shots out there, the alcohol cannot be tasted at all. Bailey's = 35% alcohol and Buttershots = 15%, so the shot is really only 25%. Still, they do taste good to most people, and at the parties I usually attend, they are good panty-droppers.

Unlike some people, I remember to blow out the flame before swallowing the drink.

As to the contents, I can't go into specifics, as parts of the recipe are a tightly-guarded secret at one of my favourite establishments. I will say however that it's extrememly potent, and very tasty. Just don't let an ignition source near it when it's in proximity to anyone face.

It was just the one exam, because for reasons only known to the lecturer (whose claim to fame is that he once dated B F Skinner's daughter - psych students might recognise that name), chose to have the exam 2/3 of the way through the semester instead of at the end of it.

Turns out the Irish Carbomb is a drink with which I am familiar. I "witnessed" one at our first Michigan Browncoats Shindig of all places. It's all coming back to me now...

B.F. Skinner's daughter? Huh. I'm thinkin' Freud's mother would have been much more interesting...

I pretty much figgered out the pipes, boys...

"Well, here I am."
