Ok I know that there is another thread with this but I couldn't find it anywhere.

What you do is vote for firefly, then 60 minutes later you can do it again, you won't see any difference in the vote till the next day.

Good news... Yesterday Firefly got 492 more votes who is in 8th place. Now we did get at least 200 more than all 1-7th place contestents Actually gaining 300 plus votes on all but Xena which we only gained by 248 votes.

I got in 12 votes yesterday, so I figure if 100 browncoats get in 10 or so votes in a day we could break the top five in 2 weeks. That is just with 100 browncoats.

Sorry for the long thread, I just wanted to encourage more to vote regularly cause we did gain signifigantly yesterday.

Come on don't ignore this post, everyone can help!

I completely agree, people just need to stay motivated!

And remember, others won't stop voting for the other top shows while we're doing this, so we need to not only improve our votes but keep track of how many votes the other shows receive on a daily basis as well :)

i just voted for firefly, but...

i was looking at the vote standings so far, and i noticed that lexx is higher on the list than buffy and angel. i realize that we are here to help keep firefly alive, but maybe we could spread some love for some of joss's other shows.

lexx has more votes than buffy! O MY GAWD. this slight cannot go unanswered. it's wrong. it's crazy. it's for chickens to laugh at.

Note that the results only update on a daily basis.

We put about 500 votes on it yesterday, with Roswell only registering about 150. If we keep at it today we'll reach 6th place \o/ In fact, as far as I can tell, none of the other top voted shows made as big a gain as we did yesterday, so if we can step it up a bit, we should make the top 5 in a couple of days.

and i'm wondering... with Firefly in 8th place (i think) why the heck hasn't the webmaster of that site modified the pie charts ^ graphs to put Firefly in a more obvious area... it seems to me its getting shadowed by some pretty crappy shows... i mean, La Fem Nakita? That show sucked when it was on the air... not to mention a few of the others on there...

now i'm not trying to "bash everything but firefly" ...but in all seriousness, firefly has garnished enough support to get a little more respect, now can i get an amen!?!?

Here's a bump.

Ya I watched Xena religiously. It was a hoot. And it had a strong gay message for women.
They actually went farther with Inara in Firefly. If the show had lasted longer who knows if those votes would be going in Firefly's direction.

Also, to those that say this is a waste of time and that by looking at the competition this isn't a 'real' vote?
People are voting therefore it IS a real vote, and secondly how is this any different than other guerilla marketing campaigns? Maybe this poll is not representative of the whole population, but it is reaching out to some people, what does it hurt you to type 'Firefly' a few times to get people thinking "what is this show in the Top 5 maybe I should check it out."
Expand your mind a little, anything people participate in is real, whether or not it is accepted in the mainstream.

Besides it only takes a few minutes a day... is that too much to ask for Firefly?
