It would seem there would be say 80 Browncoats voting regularly (very rrough math with an avergae of 600 votes a day with 8 votes each... rounded down for overcompensation).

I would think the Browncoat Army could do better than that...

At least our votes per day is slowly improving.

I apologise yinyang, I do not mean to chastise people. I just would have thought that of the huge community of browncoats that with even two minutes a day everyone could vote once. Yet many of us respond that we are voting almost 10 times a day.

The math just doesn't add up for all the support there is.

Especially so that for many Browncoats it is difficult to participate in the effort to bring Firefly back (example: charity auctions, etc.); yet as long as you have access to the internet and two minutes or less you can help make Firefly number one in the vote.

I completely agree! I've got four computers voting during the day at work (32 votes so far today) and one more at home (1 vote so far today, and at least 2 more expected this evening (1 when I get home, one more before bed)).

I get in about 10-12 votes per day. I've even got people voting for me when they hear my "GO VOTE" alarm and I'm not in the room!
I think we will get to #1, but even if we don't, there is no debating the issue that we are the best Gorram fans in this or any other 'verse.
The shows that are ahead of us lasted years and have had tons of exposure. What did we have? Fox trying to hide the show and make you find it. We've been on our own from the start and really left in black when they cancelled us, or when they thought they cancelled us
I still go after my friends to vote when they can, even others who call themselves BROWNCOATS need to be reminded from time to time.
This vote may not prove anything to anybody else but it makes me feel that as long as WE are here "Firefly" always will be.

Have you noticed the "Don't try to fool the clock" splash that's running on the vote site now? Maybe someone noticed that we are consistently scoring in the 500's and twigged the site sponsor to keep an eye on us. It's good to think we're feared by some of the bigger shows

QaF is an obvious goner (I wonder (though not enough to want to try it) what it's like for the QaF fans to see us coming up on them?), but only slightly less well known is that we will have beaten Farscape by the end of the year, and LaFemme Nikita will fall by the end of January!!
Then a long hard slog to catch Bonanza & Xena. They too shall fall, but it's gonna be a while.

Nervi, I think this is a good way of geting more attention, because think of it like this: the people who vote for other shows, though they are our competition, will be intrigued by this show they've never heard of that's getting 500 votes in one day, and might look it up, or look into it - so bam, more Browncoats to help spread the signal.

Browncoats do everything in their power to get more support for another movie, or to pick up the series. Polls are just one way, and a simple way, we show our support for the show. there's plenty more we do... it's just harder for some of the younger 'coats (i.e. me, being only a measly 16), to do some of these things. But we still try. Just do anythng you can do. Every little bit helps.

And, since i don't think I have before, I welcome you to FFF.net and our lovely 'verse! 'm pretty recent too, a beginning-of-the-summer convert.

Queer As Folk is averaging 46.2 votes a day.
Firefly is averaging 564 daily.

OH yeah... I did it... again... OH yeah... I got in...

...but y'know what it took me this long to figure out? I mean, this is such an odd result that I just didn't realize it was happening, namely: that the #2 spot is held by "BONANZA!!!!" Holy Screaming Yellow Bejesus!!!! (which was a very nasty drink we invented in the 1980's at Colorado Springes' "Meadow Muffins" club... it was named after its color & what you inevitably said after you had a bit) ...I mean, isn't everybody who used to watch "Bonanza" over 80??? If my projections are correct (gotta love the magic spreadsheet), and if the Xena princesses calm down again (to their usual 280's - 330's), Bonanza will pass Xena before we catch them. We will end up catching Xena before Bonanza.
I like having the shows listed alphabetically. It may help avoid the (admittedly few) random votes that Xena and Bonanza were picking up just because they were at the top of the list. I mean, let's face it, if I didn't see my show on the list, and saw Xena on top of the list... I'd be voting for the number two show just to knock Xena down.
