Firefly Mud?

Does anyone know of a quality Firefly MUD? I've perused the few MUSHes that exist, and quite frankly, the quality is horrid.

Alternately, anyone interested in creating one?

I've been searching frantically for the very same thing, and have resulted the same. A few mushes and a few mux that don't interest me. I would be wonderfully interested in aiding in the creation of a firefly Mud. I have a lot of experiance playing, very little experiance in room creation, and no experiance in programming. but I love to learn. Just know, you are not alone in this fight. WE WILL HAVE OUR MUD

MUD stands for Multi-User Dungeon/Domain/Dimension, and is usually a text-only online computer game, often free-to-play, and often created and changed over time by multiple people. MUDs are the forerunners of modern MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games) like EverQuest and World of Warcraft, which are created professionally by a video game company, have modern graphics, and usually have a monthly fee.

I haven't checked out any Firefly MUDs yet, but if someone makes a Firefly MMORPG, sign me up.

I've looked briefly into the mush, and have also found a mux, but the level-less, class-less system offends me mildly. Not to say that I'm offended by any of your comments, simply said, I need something a bit more... structured. Mush's and Mux's seem a bit too aimless for me, but that's just me. And I wont lie, sometimes I just don't feel like having to roleplay at all. Muds come in handy those days. Still said, it seems no MUD has been found, and still I am excited of the idea of creating a firefly/serenity MUD. Everyone else I'd suggest that if you're interested in mudding, go to a website like www.mudmagic.com or www.mudconnect.com there are many good games on these sites, my personal favorites so far are the star wars muds.
In any case, I beg that anyone interested help me form some sort of contingent, or violent mob. I myself can lead a mob, but any more then a mob, folks, and you're on your own. RISE WITH ME!

I'm creating a MUD... check it out, fireflythemud.com and not MUX or anything, an actual MUD, not open ended combat.... (just leads to god modding)

I've had a Firefly MUD in development for a while now with a group of developers. We are in the early stages of development still. We have a fairly clear view of how gameplay will be and we are working on implementing these ideas now.

I'll post the adress to the MUD and to our forum very soon, so that those interested can join in discussions and testing(when alpha/beta testing starts).

We are always looking for individuals to join our development team though, so if you have lpc experience you could always PM me. :)

Remember that we are in early alpha and a lot of things are not working and are subject to change. We only have a tiny area that is accessible to players where we test stuff.
