I just recieved my Jayne hat from CALLMESERENITY and I couldn't be more pleased with it. It's just perfect. Once I get my camera working I'll post a pic. If you want one, I highly reccomend talking to her.

Can someone let me know how to contact callmeserenity? I have tried PMing her but don't seem to have had any luck (not sure if it is me or the machine that is playing up!). Now that winter is here I would love to be keeping warm under one of her cunning creations!

Yeah, but you're getting a better one as soon as I can remember to send it to you.

And you have to send me the too big one back.

Are you allergic to wool or do you just think it's itchy? Because I have one that has this nice wool blend (like half acrylic/half wool) on the ear flaps, it doesn't feel itchy at all, and it's a better shade of rust than the pure acrylic ear flaps.

I can! I would need to know the circumference of his head. Or the measurements of his straw hat!

I've made a few smaller scale hats before, it's a bit trial and error, so it might take me a few takes to get it right.

Just received my Cunning (so cunning its got a PhD) Jayne Hat - all parcelled up with loving care (and glittery stuff) in soft tissue-paper and with an authentic callmeserenity tag and in a decorated Chirstmas envelope!

What a piece of craftsmanship. Thank you CALLMESERENITY!

As promised a photo will appear just as soon as I can get me, my shiny new hat and a camera in the same room!

Highly recommended? I couldn't recommend her highly enough!

Hey. My friend ordered a hat for me before christmas and it hasn't arrived. I was just curious if you were still making them. I've seen the pictures and they look amazing and warm. Heh. I should have blogstalked a little more before asking. I see you're just across the border from me. I'm in Charlotte, so if nothing else, I'll see you at the screening in June! There's a pretty active Yahoo Browncoat community for various regions in NC including Charlotte, and the NC and Greenville Browncoats get together now and then too. I did Browncoat bowling with them a while back. You might want to check out the community if you're looking for Browncoat activities.

Since you're on LJ, I should make you aware that there's a Jayne hat knitting community, http://community.livejournal.com/bigdamnknitters . The quality and frequency of posts are a bit uneven, but it's always interesting to see what others are doing.
