Nathan Fillion gets 'Lost'!

The new TV Guide (10/30-11/5) carries an article titled, "the Best of November Sweeps".

In that article, it's reported that Nathan Fillion will be guest staring on the 11/8 episode of "Lost".

Little more is mentioned other than the note that this episode will be the last new one, until February, and a speculation that Nathan may be portraying a husband that regular character, Kate, mentioned once.

Maybe I'll tune back into "Lost" once more to see the Captain!

In Nathan's new movie SLiTHER, the Director James Gunn mentions Firefly in the DVD extras. And
the DVD says on the back cover Nathan Fillion, Serenity.

Hopefully, some new fans find Firefly/Serenity!!

Did you see last Wed. episode? You don't think that man with the eyepatch was Nathan, do you?
At I think it was a man...the pic was very fuzzy. There was an eyepatch and the internet stuff mentions a one-eyed man.

The bunny. That is like shooting a horse in your pilot episode. Hope they didn't loose a whole lot of viewers.

Seriously! This is weak! I seen this when it was posted on Whedonesque and I submitted the news for it, like three weeks ago! But yeah, like others, I am a hige LOST fan and I will be watching it. He's supposed to be playing someone legally bound to Kate, but not in the brother way.

they have almost lost me as a viewer animal cruelty i have not purchased movies that killed an animal for shock effect. I may end up dropping lost after i see nathan we shall see.

Remember Joss had Mal shoot a horse in Firefly.
I think Joss said somewhere that they were worried about that because you can shoot people all you want...but shoot a horse.

I have a bunny and it was very hard to watch the show. I wonder how many people turned off the show before they found out that they did not kill the bunny. They were conning Sawyer or at least they say they were. And they did show a bunny with an 8 on it at the end. At least we think it was the same bunny.

In the show, Sawyer was made to believe a killer pace maker had been put in the bunny and himself and that the pace maker went off and killed the bunny.

But in the show the bunny was really sedated and that was why it was not jumping around scared in the cage and then simply went to sleep. If Sawyer knew anything about bunnies, he would have known there was no way that bunny would not have been running around that cage like crazy after the first shake.

That con about the pace maker would not have worked on the Doctor who would know about pace makers or a bunny person who would have known that the bunny was not acting normal.

In reality, I do not think the bunny was in the cage at all when they were shaking it. Shake empty cage. Show a clip of bunny just sitting there. Shake empty cage. Show a clip of bunny sleeping.

I knew the scene wasn't real, but I still had to go hug my bunny after I saw that scene and then go tell her later that the bunny was okay at the end.

I know! My sister and I were just laughing about that. She was watching it in her college lounge with some friends and, during that scene, a guy walked by and screamed, "No!! You can't do this to the Captain again!" :)

2. He's shirtless at one point.
3. He's dressed fancy at one point.
4. Our first glimpse of him, he's pretty much looking straight in the camera and says, "So, wanna get it on?"

Well Firefly fans I thought that I might tinker a bit over on ABCs official LOST website to see what fans of the series thought of Mr.Fillion on last nights eps. Although most of the talk was about Kates relationship with Jack/Sawyer there was also plenty of talk about her exhubby/cop Kevin (Nathan). I've got to tell ya that some of the folks over there think Nathan has more than chance similarities to Dr.Ethan of the others....ie maybe a brother. Some seem to think that he favors a guy with a patch over his right eye down in the hatch. If that last idea be so that would mean that Mr. Fillion is there on the island with her..... wouldn't that rattle her world ( and Sawyers cage )

First off, Nathan was AWESOME!!! Also in case nobody else noticed, Edward (the guy that is chasing after Kate in the flashbacks) is also the guy who played Rance Burgis (I know I spelled that wrong) in Heart of Gold!!! For anybody who actually follows the show I think Edward might be the eye-patch guy.

Also was anybody else replacing "Monica" with Inara the entire wedding scene?

Definitley not. You obviously dont follow the show yourself. Marshall Edward Mars was on flight 815 and was seriously wounded in the crash, Jack ended up euthanizing him when he couldn't repair his injuries. This was in like..the 1st or 2nd episode.

I see I am not the only one who couldn't help but laugh as Nathan's character is drugged by a woman who has another name and is his wife. Too funny. I was so excited to watch one of my favorite shows and see one of my favorite actors on there too. Did you also remember that the guy who plays the Marshal that is after Kate was Burgess in the episode "Heart of Gold" I wonder if they hung out at all and talked about it. But Nathan was great and all the flashback segments had him in the scene. I was watching the episode with my mom and my brother and his friends. When the part comes and Kevin and Kate are in bed, I couldn't help grinning a little and my mother turns to me and says " Not hard for you to watch him is it." (She is a fan of firefly of course) I just shook my head with a smile and got back to watching. Hmmm I want to see it again.
