Votin' when I can. Not much help this weekend I'm afraid.

If folk would be kind enough to post the raw vote numbers each day (Thurs, Fri, Sat), I'll be able to properly update my tracking sheet when I get back to work on Monday. Otherwise I do a bit of mathmatical jiggery-pokery, and use average gains over the span I'm missing.

I know some people saw our Best TV Show Voting is pointless, but in comparison to this Best Action Actress Vote we are the Academy Awards.

Has anyone looked at the results page? It lists most of the candidates multiple times depending on how you spell their name (with Capitals, without, All capitals, etc.)

I wouldn't mind voting there as well, once it gets a little more cleaned up.

We didn't do so well over the weekend.

To sum up
Between Thursday 11/23 and Monday 11/27 (today):
Firefly vs Bonanza: We fell 2 votes farther behind.
Firefly vs Xena: We pulled 335 votes closer.

For comparison, during the same period (Thursday 11/16 - Monday 11/20) last week:
Firefly vs Bonanza: We pulled 283 votes closer.
Firefly vs Xena: We pulled 689 votes closer.

Everyone's votes were off (except a few of the lower ranked shows. They may be few, but they are hard core)

I think we have our answer for corporates loosing multi machine access vs students voting more regularly when out of class. Given a world of holidays, we would eventually make it to 2nd, but 1st would be forever pulling away. On the bright side, I don't get that much vacation.

Still, I lke Farscape and will start casting votes for that show once we overtake them. Because Farscape, in my opinion, is way better than Nikita.

The math is correct. And I'm not one to borrow trouble, but...
In keeping with my personal Hope for the best, plan for the worst; I hesitate to get overly excited lest we look tomorrow and find we've been stripped of most/all of those votes. Breaking 800 is a BIG deal, 900 & I'd be buying a round of drinks. Smashing beyond 1,200 without ever touching close to 850? Does that seem right?

Did someone find a way to get some major bonus votes in? Not that I'm expecting details here, but give us a heads-up please?

Yes, it has. On October 9, 2006 Lexx gained 2,134 votes. On October 10, 2006 Lexx lost 1,856 votes . They kept more than their average number of votes, but not near what they had apparently gained.

I do not know what kind of vote verification process is used by RichLabonte.net, but it appears that numbers that are too far out draw attention, and if fraud is detected it is corrected.

I encourage everyone to learn the rules of whatever game they are playing, and to walk right up to the edge of what is allowed. But when Shinanigans is called, make sure you know you are on the legal side of the line.
