Voting and bumping! With BSG here I think I'll have to start thinking about even more ways of getting votes to Lexx...
Does anyone have any ideas, that might help me? I'm not looking for the first place, I just want Lexx in the top 5, that's all I want for my show... but it looks like lexxians' votes and the votes from you will in time be insufficient to keep us in the top 10...

Lexx has at least three problems.
1) It is relatively unknown.
2) It does not currently seem to be broadcast widely at the moment.
3) Purchasing the earliest portions of it is rather expensive.

Item one you are actually breaking into a bit by getting Lexx into the Top 10. You might, for instance, be able to get the BSG crew to give Lexx a once over to see if it is something that they might want to support.

Item two... not sure how to tackle that one. If you learn that Lexx is going to be broadcast somewhere, try to raise awareness within the TV_vote community.

Item three... still searching out a reasonable cost review of the show. One thing I've discovered is that some of Lexx is available thru netflix; thus it would not hurt to mention this when folks ask, as if they are current customers it means they do not need to come up with any additional money out of pocket.

Except for BSG, all averages are from Dec 1; BSG is from 12/21.

With 3 days data under the belt for BSG, I'd predict they will break top10 in about 160 days based on current averages; however, everyone's votes are down (probably the holidays) so probably sooner.

Lexx's intercepts to QAF is about 60 days, while Roswell is about 75 days out.

Firefly should hit 125,000 before the end of January... that'll be awesome! (I'm picking Jan 22... I know, let's have a 125,000 pool!)

Yup, Lexx is unknown. If the prices I showed in one of the previous topics are not good enough, than it will stay this way... So we're counting on our own fans and the deal with you. I was thinking about proposing the deal to another show as well, but what show would that be, since they are all our priority enemies. You are the only show, which is far beyond our reach and I don't mind voting for. I wouldn't propose a deal to Bonanza and Xena, because they are your enemies and a deal with them will ruin the deal with you, something I don't want. I will see how things develop in time.

Thank you for your support! We will continue to support you as well! Merry Christmas again. I wonder how Santa fitted all 100 000 votes in his present bag :)

I just registered to serenitymovie.org and posted about the same thing there that I will here, so sorry if some of you see it twice. It's soooo late here...

It's good to meet you guys! I'm from Hungary, and I am watching Firefly only the 2nd time these days icon_smile.gif Ok, I'm coming pretty late, but hey, at least I saw the episodes in the correct order! ;)

Ok, maybe you'll hear more about me later, but now let's get down to business...

The Xena votes... 3rd plot up here... Did you notice any funny patterns? Well, I did... Strangely flat distribution (around 600 votes/week) for 2+ months, then a sudden rise to almost the double of it at the end of January... Incidentally, 600 votes equals 4 "people" voting each hour, 24/7... As Reyclou put it at another place: "Methinks most of them are scripts or bots - automatic vote generators that have been going since this thing began."

I say let's kick those bots into the engine!

Install Greasemonkey in Firefox from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/748/, restart FF, click my goodie http://firefly.dreamhosters.com/firefly.user.js, then go to http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/index.html, wait a few seconds and enjoy the shinyness! Then leave it there for an hour, and... you'll see...

BUT: Please don't abuse it, as all we need is to keep up with the 8 or so Xena bots. No power in the 'verse can stop us!
