So I'm watching the Serenity pilot for about the 37th time, and I just noticed that, after Wash tells Zoe to watch her back, a gloved hand reaches into frame and grabs the front bumper of the Mule!

Anyone else notice?

yup, noticed a long time ago. I think that scene was filmed after the one that comes later where Nathan almost gets run over, and they were being more cautious.... maybe?

Okay, that makes sense.
Only reason I mentioned it was because all the other goofs get mentioned by Joss on the commentary.

ok that little thing about the hand on the mule was on the dvd commentary along with the flying controls upsidedown and the fact that wash wasnt useing the joystick when flying in one scene

however i just noticed that in warstories mal had his left ear cut off and right after saying "and they say people dont look like their pets" the shot goes back on mal and his right ear had been cut off and then later its his left ear again and his right ear is back. im not sure if anyone else has noticed this.

Bad as that was, it could have been much worse...they could have cut off his plough.

Has anybody noticed that very near the end of Serenity (movie) when they're patching up the ship and Inara is painting the symbol back on the side that the person painting isn't actually Morena? It's a double but I don't know why.

Well in the message when they are leaning over the coffin and listening to the recording, Jayne take of his new knit cap. A moment latter at a different camera angle Jayne is wearing his cap again.

It is hard to keep track of every little detail. I see these things on TV and in movies all the time. They have to stop shooting because someone forgets a line and when they restart someone forgets their original stance or a cocktail glass suddenly goes from empty to half full. Saw that in Medium about three weeks ago.
