10. Graduation Day pt 2- Loved how the high school got blown up.
9. Storyteller- Andrew is as god...
8. Becoming pt 1- I prefer pt 1 to pt 2
7. Innocence- This was when Buffy hit its stride.
6. The Body
5. Dopplegangland- Hilarity! And Willow.
4. Hush
3. Once more, with feeling
2. Restless- Pure genius
1. Passion- Weird no. 1 isn't a Joss episode.

I don't think I could possibly narrow my list down to 10 episodes, but I think that list would have to include "Normal Agian". As far as Buffy knows, she chose psychosis over sanity that day. Plus, I can't find Sunnydale on any maps...

'Beneath You' and 'Gone' are interesting number 1s... Neither of them (in my mind) are bad episodes but why do you guys think they're number 1 material?

Well I can't really say much for "Gone" (except for the shininess that is naked push-ups

), but there is one part of "Beneath You" that sticks out in my mind.

At the very end of the episode when Buffy finds Spike in the church was one of the most genius scenes of that season. For anyone familiar with the concept of word salads (defined as "The symptom of confused, and often repetitious, language that is symptomatic of various mental illnesses."), Joss and Co. portrayed a very excellent example of one. They even showed how, despite the fact that much of what he's saying is complete gibberish, if you look at the bigger picture, it all makes a sort of sense (an idea they used later with River). So all that being said, I can definitely see why it would be a favorite.

Yeah, I remember that scene. Though I don't think it distinctly resembles anything used with River, I still like it.

Passion isn't a weird number one at all! It's one of the best in the series.

What might be weird is that out of my top ten, only two of them are Joss episodes. In no particular order (though I do like the top five better than the bottom), they are:

Passion

Same Time, Same Place
Helpless
The Body
The Prom
Fool for Love
Hell's Belles
The Gift

hated graduation day and i really can't understand anyone including it in their top 10.
