Old thread, but I'll jump in here. NZ Browncoat, Auckland.
I designed a website for a hub for NZ Browncoats community, but ended up with no place to host it. Kinda hard to find 'coats down here, but found some at the Serenity Now screening the other month.
We have a Yahoo group for NZ 'coats too.
Stay shiney!

Aussie from Queensland, been a fan of Joss's work for some time, missed Firefly though but have watched it, loved it and will definitely buy another set (last set, stolen by addicted friend) Anywho, I'd love to see re-runs back on TV 'specially before they show Serenity. But like already said in thread, needs to be at a appropriate time (not midnight, or close to midnight) Well, that's my two bobs worth.

There most certainly are a lot of Aussie browncoats here. I myself hail from the magical land of Brisvegas.

There are heaps more wandering around, and I'm sure others will be along to welcome you all, so just consider me the beginning of the welcoming procession.

I was shown the light from an older cousin of mine.

Have since brought the series and Film, and have turned about 5 people to the cause.

A lot of Fellow Melbournians here... all Magpie fans I assume

intersting this thread has resurfaced after all this time. Im from Melbourne.

I intentionally didnt watch firefly when it aired here, because I knew it had been cancelled already and I knew Id love it (Joss Rules) so I didnt want to get hooked. Accidentally watched an episode one night and loved it....but still held out...until I heard the film was coming, when I raced out and bought the dvd's, rounded up some friends who were buffy fans, and had a 2 day Firefly marathon to prepare us for the movie opening. So, I guess I converted people before I was a browncoat, LOL. I also took a group to the charity screening last year at Forest Hill

Another Sydney Browncoat here. Proudly converted a few.

I can't believe I have been hanging around here for years and only now found this thread. Weird.
