If you still have this, it's probably your best bet to ask Haken to post it to the site, then let folks that want it download it. Seems there's plenty of folks that want it, but not everyone will be able to accept a large e-mail attachment.

It strikes me as even more odder that no-one has created a Firefly theme or Serenity theme since the posting of the original message (December 2003).

I think the main thing is to gather suitable sound files from the DVD`s, Images for Icons & Backdrops and then put it alltogether in a zip file

Perhaps there should be a thread for `CONTRIBUTE TO THE WINDOWS FIREFLY THEME` & one for MACS

I`ve got a probelm with my PC DVD player and can`t play DVD`s without the machine locking up.

Might I suggest that you use the `Hero of Canton song` sung by Adam Baldwin as your startup sound it might be long but it`s cool!

I think you have all been a bit harsh! The person who said they have the desktop was actually offering it to ONE person who asked about it and then a million people post their addresses saying "me too please." And then you pick on them when you dont get it!

I know that it wasnt nice to not come back, but maybe there was a reason.

OOOH! I have been alllll over the 'net looking for a good Firefly Desktop Theme. Found a good Babylon 5, a great Farscape, but the Firefly fly ones are lacking in comparison.

I have seen one that I liked but the link was bad; it was heartbreaking, I tell you.

I too have tried to get the download at THemeUnlimited, but it doesn't work. I've already asked for a copy of the desktop, but I haven't been successful. Could someone please send me a theme or poinr our where I could download a version.
If this site is hosting a version of the desktop theme, could I see the directions on where to find it, The screensvare for the movie isn't that bad either.

as for all the requests, he only had to send a few out and everyone who had it could have shared it too

i comliped 2 serenity themes from imagery and sound clips found on various web sites and forums,
i left the windows style the same so people can set they how they like

Since no one else seems to have one that works, I've created some theme packs.

These include icons and theme installers. Download the file, unzip to the my pictures folder, and then make your choice.

I also made a screensaver that can be downloaded sperately.

I may not know how many people have downloaded saradevil's post, but I'm still quite suprised no one has said thanks even after over a year has past.

Anyways, if you get this saradevil, thanks.

It's still available for download. The files are all there, but it doesn't seem to work with windows XP or something. I'm eager to get this working from what I have seen of the images and sounds.
