Thanks for your efforts in keeping us voting. I can't believe the Xenites are making so much progress. How many fans can they have?

Although, I suppose many Browncoats don't bother to vote. I've noticed the voting support for Firefly Talk and The Signal have been lacklustre lately.

On a techie note....

Pivot tables in Excel are really easy, depending what you are trying to do. A bit messy coding VBA directly, but not really that hard to understand.

I'm trying to code the pivot tables and graphing functions. Thank you also for letting me know the path ahead isn't as dark as I thought.

Has anyone heard anything on the Bonanza boards about Xena stepping it up? Any chatter about trying to rally their troops?

I quickly went to see what they're up to. To summarise: Generally they're promoting their "western block" vote (Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Ponderoza and Laramie) and there's mention of getting to 200k before 20 March at approximately 800 votes a day.

The "western block" vote is also promoted on the Gunsmoke boards (according to a poster on Bonanzaworld), but they haven't really established the impact of these extra votes.

Anyone know of another scifi show on or off the list that we could get on there and recruit its fanbase to join with ours? They may have formed their western block somewhat out of paranoia but why not actually get a scifi block going. We gotta take down Xena!

Yup, we've got a sci-fi block going.

Some of Lexx's 120ish fans are voting for Firefly, and some of ours are voting for Lexx. Not that we don't appreciate the help (we do, really), but as a percentage of votes cast, I think Lexx is getting the better end of that particular deal.

Approaching say, BSG or the Trek's could be productive, especially if cast in the "What crappy 'verse do we live in where Xena is #1?"

I imagine a bunch of our folks already vote for one or more of them.

Well let me say AGAIN that we are supposed to be voting for BSG and they are supposed to be voting for us. I guess thats kind of a block, except that BSGers and Lexians aren't working together. It could still help to get more in the block though, especially since only some of the people voting for each show participate.

There are some lexxians, who wouldn't vote for any other show. They'd prefer Lexx to get 10 votes per day, but fair ones, even if other shows get many unfair ones. But most of them are like me - they are happy to vote for other shows (especially if they're sci-fi) if it brings more votes for us. I'm sure you're getting about 80-100 lexxian votes per day.
We are going to offer to BSG the same deal, so we unite our three shows in a block, but I'll wait for them to pass us first. I don't think we can avoid that, but still I won't feel comfortable voting for a current enemy.

Jorune, that's all the talk in Bulgaria, how the EU is going to make our lives much better, but most of the younger people like me, disagree on that and would prefer not to make all the sacrifices for the EU. We'll still see though, I'm not good with political and economic predictions, so let's wait and see. There's at least one positive aspect of our membership in the EU and it is the little rise in our self-feeling. We are grateful, that the other countries try to help in the case with our medics in Lybia. Couple of years ago we would think it's a lost cause, because the world wouldn't give a damn. Now we have trust, that with the help of EU and USA they will get freedom. Although the situation is pretty messed up... Also, we gave up on nuclear plant's reactors because of the EU, although they are much safer than many of the nuclears in EU countries. Now that we have achieved the membership, we're desperately trying to make them work again and we believe we can succeed :)

Thanks for the update and welcome to the wider European family. The EU has to clean its' house and get its' accounts in order, that is the top priority.
