Time for a new addition to the ongoing saga of Browncoat purdyness!

Here is me.

The larger version of the *poke* picture I'm sure my friends on myspace will get pretty tired of

And just because it took me so long to get this shot:

Now post you!
Or you can, y'know, just talk about other people's too...

Roxy as Mijo = I'll be in my bunk.

Magda pics (especially the reaver/scary sex kitten ones) = I'm back, oh, well, I'll be in my bunk.

Nice knife ninjakitty, and great sword pose Rose-doll. Also nice to (finally) see you, FMF. :)

PR, love your training pic. It was well worth the effort.

Gorgeous Magda and her lil River. Just too adorable for words! Oh and I'm also very jealous of your swag. I'll be stealing that now...

FMF, what beautiful boys you have! I also really like your smiling pic.

Hehe, I made RIMG go to his bunk, my work here is done.

Causal, ok sad at your lack of cam, but enjoying your lovely pic.

Trist, ya make me smile every time you post pics. And I 2nd HK's comment, that secret agent outfit should make an appearance more often.

G32, lovin' the shades and the arsinal, but unfortunately you made PR sulk so... *reaches over, presses button on grenade and runs away*

Cos, Oooo, more shiny swag for me to be jealous of and steal...

*takes deep breath* Did I miss anyone? I hope not! Ok, was very, VERY bored today so I took pics. Just bought this shirt and I love it, especially the back...

Also, FANTASTIC photos Roxy. You are really photogenic.

Tristan: Your photos are always fun to look at. The costumes are brilliant. The Badger photo is classic! The special agent (Matrix?) outfit with the shades is really cool.

Causal, thanks! It's a wee bit small, though, but it is an antique.

CosmicFugitive, where did you get the action figure? I see them every now and then on eBay, but is there somewhere that sells them regular-like?
And nice collection!
Oh, yes...thanks for the compliments.
I was trying for the Matrix look...didn't have the right shades, though...

Roxy,Roxy,Roxy...I...can't....think...properly....Every time I see you, I just catch my breath. *sigh*
I love the shirt...and the photos are works of art! And don't worry, I'll "hush"!
One more look....yep, you are a rare beauty...
And thank you for the seconding. Never thought I looked good in a suit.

G32 again....nice collection! ....I need to start getting more stuff....

I picked up the Mal action figure at a comic book/specialist store called The Forbidden Planet. There are two in Scotland, and luckily are close by to me.

Originally, I was looking for the comics, but saw the Mal, Jayne and Reaver figures on display lol. (The comics are much harder to track down. I managed to get issue 2 at a convention. The local stores had sold out.)

You can shop online at their stores too:

While I was cleaning out my harddrive I came across a bunch of pictures. One of them has me in it. Instead of deleting it, I decided to post it, since phoenixrose is so delirious over pictures of fellow browncoats. I’m the dude with the shaved head.

I think this picture was taken in Ireland.

http://home.comcast.net/~thegnlord/ireland06.JPG

Also I found this one too.

It’s my foot. I don’t know why I have this. The things I find at the bottom of my harddrive! Anyway, it was an unintentional picture. The camera went off while I was stepping onto the curve. I don’t remember for sure where it was taken, but I think it was either Belfast or Edinburgh.

No. You’re doing the same stuff you always do.

The last few days, I’ve just not had any interest in discussing anything in the RWE thread. I get tired of the same old stuff. Sometimes I just feel like I’ve said all I have to say on global warming, Bush and the War in Iraq. I’m expanding my horizons.

Ooooh, that. Right. Yeah, I do start most of the picture threads. Didn't start the first one, and the "putting faces with screen names" series fell into obscurity and then another one was started totally independently awhile later, so I dug up the links to the old ones and thought it would just be a nice idea to always have a place for Browncoats to come see what their fellows look like. It's turned a few of us into cam-companions, of course, but that can be fun, too

Hey there Finn! Nice to see a pic of ya! Ooo, did you say Ireland? I'm dying to go there!

HK, just love that pic! You always take the greatest pics. How do ya do it?

Hello Solan! I'm glad people are starting to put more pics up.

PR, so cute and innocent, in that pic. How good you are at hiding the truth! I always liked the idea of seeing all my fellow Browncoats. Now I know what people are gonna look like at D*C!

I could sign in to worth1000 and see if I could find the full size version. I wonder what contest it was from?
I haven't signed on there in so long. They keep disqualifying my submissions, so I got kinda tired of it.

I've been working my way through all the old picture threads. There's a lot of broken links and some empty posts. It's made me a little sad

Rose-doll - I have seen you give a good come hither smile (or maybe it was just wishful thinking ? )

I did the same thing, started looking through the old threads (FMF's post made me want to, and I realize that I have gone through them all before, it's just been a good while), and I agree: broken links to Browncoat purdyness are sad.

Glad you like the cat.

Roxy, you need NO lessons in facial expressions. You always have the perfect smile, or the perfect look. Your laughter comes through in the funny photos, and your intensity shines all the time. No...it's kind of like acting....if you have to be taught, it ruins the effect.
I would love to see more of that shirt series, by the way....just way too pretty!

And I concur that there should be one big group bunk somewhere...heck, it might be a good idea just to stay in there and put all the photos up on the walls!

Nothing new...just another Jayne shot at the bar from the last "shoot"...

Ok, Trist, you are just beyond sweet. No wonder a certain Aussie is so taken with you. Actually the pics I take the expressions just come out random. I did love acting in school, not particularly great at it, but it was such a fun thing to do, especially Shakespeare.

Since you asked so nicely...

Sorry, didn't take that many so there's not much variation in the pics.

Ya know, that doesn't sound like a half bad idea with the pics in the bunk. Although there would have to be more than one, people might be spending WAY too much time in there.

Love the bar shot! Did you say something 'bout people coming over and checking out your place during D*C?

OMG! I just looked out my window and snapped this pic. It's a crazy blizzard out!

Thank you, Roxy! You have made my day a brighter place!
You always do have wonderful expressions...they never look forced, always natural...you are very photogenic and I look forward to posts from you. I'll always get a smile or a wistful daydream from your pictures.
"Classic Beauty"....that's what comes to mind.

And yes, there is a post-D*C shindig Chez Tristan...it is mostly 76th-er's that are planning on coming over (of which you are one *ahem* ), but all Browncoats will be welcome!

Shakespeare, eh? I could see you as Ophelia, Viola, Cleopatra...

And bonus! Blizzard photo! Today would be a good day to snuggle up next to the fire! Here's hoping the hubby is home!

Yay!! I'll have to see what my friend wants to do, but I'm sure she wouldn't mind the shindig.

I was Ophelia actually and also Beatrice (only a bit. I never did the whole plays, just scenes). I loved it, but the parts were SO much of a chore to learn!

Beatrice! Forgot about her! ....yeah, I can see that. And I'd be willing to bet you enjoyed Ophelia, too!

And shiny on the shindig. I do not have that many "actual" beds, but I have plenty of crash-space and there will be plenty of drink, food, and company!

I really did enjoy playing Ophelia, though I did like playing Beatrice better. I seem to enjoy doing comedy more and the sarcasm was just SO much fun! The guy that played Benedict was enjoyable to banter with.

Ok, that just sounds like it's gonna be a blast! I'm so excited for D*C!!

It always helps if your fellow actors are good at what they do. I am happy to hear that Benedick was a good one...the 'banter' betwixt those two is wonderful. Thanks for sharing that.

Hi Tristan - don't let those koalas boss you around.

I took a little time off for various reasons - none of which were much fun or very interesting i'm afraid - but I couldn't stay away from here.

It seems i missed the conclusion of the great Male-Female Imponderable debate - man, that thing had taken on a life of it's own - glad to see you got that worked out and all is right with the world.

Nice to see so many familiar names (and faces) as well as all the new ones, on board. It amazes me sometimes how this little site just keeps on going - and i mean that in a good way...

Once again, I swoop down from the shadows.

This is my hair growing experiment. It really needs guidance, starting to look really rough around the edges. Also, I was testing my first part of my new BSG shirt.

I'm guessing you meant 'awake' here. Well, see, there was a 'mandatory' meeting at work today (or yesterday, technically) which I stayed up for. Ended up staying up til about 5:30, actually. Considering the meeting basically consisted of the manager going over the new employee handbook with us and having us sign it, I'm pretty pissed off about the whole thing. Would post pictures of my pissed off face, but I've yet to get a good picture of it. I look rather neutral when I'm angry, it would seem. And if my ex is to be believed, I'm cute when I'm angry. So I'm just gonna post this guy:

*waves* Hi Dayve and pretty Bryce and Kenobius! Kenobius, you definitely look way different with the blonder hair. Still so... very... pretty, though!

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
