Nice photo! Not creepy at all, IMHO. I like the way the candlelight filters out the extraneous and pulls the eye in to the recognizable features. Having the eye concentrating on the features that make him him has a really striking effect. Makes him almost seem to look right out of the photo at you.

Thanks! I love taking pics of him, but he never seems to want to pose for me. He says he always looks like he's 12, lol! Ok, he might be kinda right in this case... Really wanted to bring out his eyes. I guess it worked well!

The character generator is here: http://www.sp-studio.de/ (this is the best one anyway) but I also edited mine a bit in photoshop (changed the size and color of the glasses, added the coat on top of clothes it usually won't go over, and made the lips bigger because the lips on there are tiny, etc.) so if you want anything changed on yours, you can ask me; it's a pretty quick edit (except the glasses). Oh, and you need to have a way to take screenshots. I have software that does it, but I think there's a way to do it without anything special. Anyone?
(shameless plug: I have also made the whole crew of Serenity as SP characters, and a few others from the show and movie; check my Blue Sun Items!!)

Most keyboards have a button "Print Screen".

Push that once and it takes a screenshot.

Then you can go into some image editing software (I use MSPaint because it's all I have) and paste (Ctrl-V) and viola, screenshot.

If hitting the print screen button (in the F-key row) and then pasting in to something like Paint or photoshop doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you unless you have PhotoImpression (which is what I use to get mine) but I can make another one for you if you don't like the first one...

To save the finished image, hit the 'prt scr' button next to F12.

The image can be cropped down in Photoshop methinks. (I don't have photoshop, and just paste the whole printed screen onto a powerpoint slide, and crop the image down. I adjust the 'page set up' to fit the image and save it as a JPG.)

The alternative South Park character generator is cool! Here's my version..

MSG,

Are you using a PC or a Mac?

If you are using a PC then the print screen key is the one with "Prt Scrn" written on it. It is normally the first one of three keys by themselves to the right of the F12 key.

Just go into Paint after you have captured the screen you want and either use edit then paste or hold down the Ctrl key and press the "v". Your screen capture should appear.

If you are using a laptop then it will be else where. If you are tell me the Make/model and country where you live and I maybe able to point it out.

Sorry I can't help with the Mac as I haven't used one for a very long time.

I leave for one day and suddenly South Park is hosting a browncoat convention!?!?!?!

Anyway, having seen some folks real pics I can say that these are down right hi-larious! Flattop, very in character. Hobbliet, right on the mark. PR, you're really churning these things out! Nicely done all.

Here is mine (trying to live up to Roxy's expectations of my wierdness):

BTW, if you're on a mac you can just hit command shift 4 and the mouse will become cross hairs. Click and drag to select the part of the screen you want to copy, you'll hear a camera shutter noise and voila! the pic will be on your desktop. Shift command 3 does the whole screen.
