Do I like animal print? Yeah, maybe a little. I own mostly leopard print. What do I own that is leopard print? Well...
A bathing suit
shoes
tights
two pairs of pants
two or three skirts
two vests
a hat
a robe
bra and underwear set
two blankets
pajamas
at least four shirts
a... dress-type nightie thing

Yes, I do have pictures of most all of them. Some were posed that way, many I just ended up in the shirts because I wear them a lot.
No, you can't see them all
Yes, the ones I don't mind the public seeing have been posted in various places and are somewhere in my photobucket.

Wow!! Look at all the pretty peoples - I just snuck a few moments online and had to pop in to actually see my favourite peoples and there is my wonderful Smartbutdumbblonde (who is totally nothing but smart by the way!!!) You are too adorable Honey - that is a lovely happy warm picture of you and it is so good to see you at last!!

Rose, Mei Mei - you are still adorable and I totally understand about not sleeping... I have taken a lot of my 'self portraits' when I should have been asleep - the weird lighting of a different bedside lamp... the ever darkening circles under my eyes... the different angles of my facial features... and of course there really is nothing else to photograph when you are in bed at 2am and there are others in the house sleeping already... *sigh* so you all get more pathetic images of me than you can handle and I get some 'companion therapy' out of it all!

Roxy!! You are Honey - you are the Rock Star - let me sort your friend out for you!!

Steamer!! I am loving seeing more of you!! I am transported back to staying with my cousin in England who works on the Worth Valley Railway in Yorkshire when I see your pics of the steam trains!! The only thing I can think of is me doing inappropriate things or taking pictures of myself in inappropriate clothing (though I DID go see Rocky Horror Picture Show last Saturday... and dressed up... and got at least one pic.)...

Happily, I've found the cable that connects my camera to my laptop, so now I can update piccies more often. Just not now. Because I'm lazy. AND on a different computer, but whatever...

It was just good fun!

Wow Emma, those are quite pretty, I have a thing for bruises. I sincerely hope they fade and you're back to normal soon. I had a similar look after I was introduced to another Rugby players elbow. Ironically the skull is the hardest bone in the body, followed by the elbow. The face ranks a distant third I guess. I broke my nose, both cheekbones and one eyesocket was cracked. God, I loved playing that game.

PR - it's nice to see you smiling, It's been a while since I have had my day brightned like this.

HK - You are the funniest woman, your sense of humor makes me forget about the fact that I just failed one of my certification tests ... miserably.

And the story ye shall receive PR.

Last was my final year of High School. And, being an Art student, I like all my classmates, was required to complete a Body of Work.

Some did painting, some did phtotgraphy, some drawing...

I did a 32 page comic book. All profesional like.

Now I'm not much of a drawer, but I can draw pretty damn good if you give me enough time.
Unfortunately, I would find that I take too damn long...

So all year, I write, rewrite, re-rewrite and then tweak my story so as much of it can be told through just imagery alone as possible. I did this whole process way too much.

I told you I took too long to draw. I was halfway done drawing the whole thing (no colour needed in this baby) with 8 days to go.
This, as you can imagine, was not at all a good thing.

I threw the whole thing in the bin on Friday night. Wake up at 11am Saturday morning and got to work. The plan? Re-do the whole thing with photographs instead of drawings. Still black and white (thanks to the wonders of Photoshop CS2).

I fell asleep 2am Friday morning. That's like 135 hours or something without a wink of sleep.

I got the final copy of the comic out of the printers half an hour before they closed for the weekend, and the work was due 9am Monday morning. Thank God my car didn't break down on the way there.

So 232 photographs, too many cups of coffee, 4 trips to the printing place, $520, 135 hours and 5 five and a half kilograms (a tad over 12 pounds for you Imperialists) later and I have a finished comic book in my hands.

My teacher hated it. Too bad for her she doesn't get to mark it. It gets shipped to the city where a panel of judges view every single body of work in the state.
The judges loved it. I got into ArtExpress (Selected artists have their work shown in the Art Gallery of New South Wales) and got offered a scholarship into a graphic design school, which I promptly turned down.

Last February, I threw the comic into a bonfire. There's only one copy left, and it sits on a friends bookshelf.

Thus, the story of the 'Art Attack' (geddit? Art Attack, heart attack? hehe!) is complete. And I siad it wouldn't be long....

Well, that is a hell of a story!

Wow, if I did that, do you think I could get a scholarship to a graphic design school? Probably not, since I'm not in high school anymore... And live in the US... Oh well.
