Email SciFi For A May Marathon!

The original sci-fi/Email thread was getting long, so I'm starting a spinoff one specifically for the May marathon thing. Copying TDBrown's post from the original thread for it, so keep reading for all relavent information.

Sci/Fi has NOT scheduled a FF Marathon for the month of May! However, they still have an open daytime schedule on both the 7th and the 22nd. Let's rally the troops and ask skiffy to insert a Firefly Marathon on one or both of those dates!

ps: Might throw in a hint that a Marathon coinciding with the release of the Serenity SE would be Shiny!

So far, we seem to have gotten a pretty fair response from folks, but as I've said a bazillion times, it's all about the Numbers. The more folks that e-mail, the more likely they'll pay attention!

Done and Done. I had a friend mention something about talks to start work on a new serenity, or a spin off of some form of Firefly... He could be talking out his ass... but I was wondering if anyone had heard any buzz...?

Where did your friend hear this mentioned wOOch?

There's been several rumors over the last year and a half. None have proved true so far. I'd sure love it if one of them did though.

I think we need to keep encouraging Sci-Fi to do this, especially as time for the sales of the SE get closer. Sci-Fi is owned by Universal, it just makes good business sense for them to advertise their new product ( our SE BDM!! ) with a marathon or two!

lol I like your Signnature there FollowMal, that looks good. It's a strong format, I could swear I've seen something like it before though... hmm...
As for where he heard it, I have no clue he said he was hopping around some movie site looking for new releases an saw it on a rumor board or something.

If this is one of the sigs you made for the BSC, I thank you. In all the crazy mayhem of last summer leading up to the Serenity 'Versary I think I forgot who made what.

I will be switching to a Drive banner tomorrow. I can't wait for that show!!

Ahhh, rumor boards. Hope one of these days that BDSequel rumors come true.
