Amazing band, that mixes elements of techno, rock, punk, dub, raggae, hip hop, metal, drum 'n' bass, traditional Indian music and about a million other genres. Mind-blowing stuff...

I haven't seen Breaking Benjamin live since their first CD came out. I remember being excited that their opening song was my favorite, "Home".

Before He Cheats, by Carrie Underwood

Don't usually like mainstream country, I'm more of a fan of the classics. But this is one of those tunes you can't help but like.

Charming Spell ~ Splashdown

One of my very fav bands of all time! So very sad they broke up. They have a really cool sound. This is a link to a page set up with all of their songs to listen to. I would suggest 'Beguiled (Mark II)', 'Ironspy', 'Asia At Odd Hours' and 'Archer', but all are very cool...

They asked me how I knew
My true love was true
I of course replied
"Something here inside
Cannot be denied"
They said "Someday you'll find
All who love is blind"
You must realise
Smoke gets in your eyes
So I chaffed them and I laughed
To think they could doubt my love
Yet today my love has flown away
I am without my love
Now laughing friends deride
Tears I cannot hide
So I smile and say
"When lovely flame dies
Smoke gets in your eyes"

Crazy On You - Heart

Heard it for the first time on Guitar Hero II, and to this day, the song still kicks my ass when I try it on Hard difficulty. And then it has the audacity to creep into my head and hide, so I'll start humming it whilst I'm doing something else, thus reminding me of how frustrating it is to play on Guitar Hero...

All considered though, it's a kick-ass song.

EDIT: If you've got like 6 minutes 57 seconds to spare, I heartily recommend that you check out this live performance...'cos it kicks so much booty, it's untrue.

EDIT: Took me 20 minutes to realise I hadn't posted the link on my last edit

He also happens to be from my home state. That's where all the Otsego songs come from; a county in Michigan.

Trust - Megadeth

I'm trying to learn this song today for two reasons... Reason #1: It's ruttin' awesome! And Reason #2: I wanna impress my bass teacher tomorrow and there are few songs that could do a better job and this one's actually in my league. So it's taken me the better part of the day and so far I've got the main riff down and I can do the verses if I look at my tabs every once in a while. But the intro is impossible. If there was anything resembling timing on a tab I could be done by now but sadly Dano, you got any advice?

Bodies - Drowning Pool

Gomithrous, in regards to your query, the only advice I can give is obvious stuff. The most of tab websites have been taken offline due to pressure from the music industry, and legal ambiguity. However, I was able to find this one. I'ts rated 4/5, but I'm sure you'll be able to work it out if it's a bit off:

http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/m/megadeth/trust_btab.htm

In regards to timing, there's not much that can be put on a tab. Again, the only advice I have is pretty primitive stuff. Look at how the author of the tab has spaced the fretting on the parts of the song you've got down. This should enable you to see how the author shows faster bits, slower bits etc. Then compare it to how the intro's spaced for a rough idea. Then work it out slow, regardless of timing, just make sure your hands have got the physical patterns down. Then just play it along with the CD/MP3 again, and again, and again. And hopefully with a bit of time and patience, the correct timing will come to you.

All kinda obvious stuff, but that's all I can offer in terms of advice. Good luck!
