If Waitress is already gone--see the DVD when it comes out. Nathan's performance is great. And if Keri Russell doesn't get at least a nomination for an Oscar I know that they are rigged.

Word is that Fox SearchLight is still pushing Waitress to new theaters!

Can't tell by the imdb.com map of US Waitress screenings http://imdb.com/title/tt0473308/cinemashowtimes or the Box Office Mojo counts but on our favorite myspace Sandi Jun 28 2007 1:01P says Waitress is going to a new theater! Whoo-hoo!

"Here's how big Waitress has become - it's starting in Janesville, Wisconsin tomorrow. This is a town with two movie houses - a total of 18 theaters. Until the week before last, they were showing only five movie - Spiderman, Shrek, Pirates of the Caribbean, Ocean's Thirteen, and Knocked Up. A few weeks ago I had to drive 35 miles to see Waitress in Madison, and now it's just down the street. Guess where I'll be Sunday."

I saw Waitress 2x in Raleigh, NC, once by myself and once with my daughter and then we both caught it again at the local multiplex, but it left after 2 weeks.

Let me see, his best line among many is "I wish it were Friday."

Never mind Keri Russell getting a nomination. I think Andy Griffith should be a definite for supporting actor. That man has a gift.
I love my Captain. But Andy Griffith was the real genius of the film.

I'm interested.

My Mom and I went to see Waitress in the theater and it was wonderful! We were saying yesterday that we thought it might not be long before it was released to DVD. But... it's still doing well in theaters.
So... I'd like to see it stay there as long as possible.

gossi thought Fox Searchlight had a plan of 1000 theaters which would mean they had 1000 Waitress film printed...so hopefully Fox Searchlight keeps pushing Waitress to theaters...so everybody gets to see it.

If you know any Andy Griffith or Keri Russell fans, be sure to point out that they are in Waitress. And who isn't an Andy Griffith fan...

That was the problem with Serenity too. Theater owners have to guess if people will still come out to see the movie. And they guess wrong.

People don't know this movie is out. But it is still doing well. Made $16 million so far according to Box Office Mojo.

Keep an eye on your area theaters...might come to another theater in your area or the next town.
