Anybody know what font is used for "Firefly" and where I can get it. (for free if possible)

I have some wallpaper & t-shirt ideas but I want to use the same, or very similar, font that's used in all the official stuff.

If you find out somewhere else be sure to post here. I'd love to have that font myself.

The exact font is "Nuptial". However it ain't free.

Figures..... Maybe I'm just stingy and inconsiderate but I have a hard time justifying paying money for fonts. I'll use "close enough" if it's free.

I have finally come into possession of the Firefly font... Nuptial Script.

Dudes, I hate to be the bearer of bad tiding - but 'Nuptial Script' ain't the Firefly font. The F is totally missing the curl on the top cross-stroke and the y is completely wrong. Plus..waaaayy too much serif on the r and i.

I'm pretty sure that the font was produced specifically for the show (as were the fonts for Buffy and Angel), but you might want to try finding a download for one of these. They're all a pretty good match:

There's a fantastic fonts-site, perhaps you can find similar fonts there. I know that you can download Corabael too - and for free. It's German, but the search is easy. ;)

I used Nuptial for my eBay Firefly auction and you're all right, it's close but not exact. It conveys the mood adequately enough.

SpoilerRick, nice job with the Font research! I used to have a True Type Font maker. I'll see if I can't dig it up on an old backup CD and try to put together a Firefly font for you.

Oh, the joys of a bumped thread...

Here's how it is: when I first got into Firefly and Serenity I was looking into the font thing. I googled firefly font and one of the results was this thread. Consequently, I lurked for all of a day and then joined. I've been happily conversing with the lot of you since then.
