Did anyone vump Whedonesque yet?

I have an account there but I've never even used it - got too fed up of them posting spoilers because I only finished Angel this weekend, so I avoided the site entirely. So I don't think they'd appreciate a suggestion from me on something that's bound to be at least a little controversial.

Last time we *did* make Whedonesque though we got a LOT of votes out of it. Gotta be worth a try. Anybody feel they've got a shot of making a submission there that sticks?

Yes, I noticed that. I try to stay open minded about Whedonesque, because it has good info and ofcourse Joss posts there, but I do find it very irksome. One of my friends posted Firefly news one day as well and got pulled. She's never tried again.
I don't believe that Whedonesque is biased against FF/S, there are articles there now. I think their rules are so very strict that it's hard to live within them.

I think that they make up the rules as they go. Like playing a game with three-year-olds. I'd go look at their rules, but "Grrr arrrg our lame server sucks" isn't all that helpful.

I think what we have done is fantastic. I think that it is news to share with Joss Whedon and his fans. I just got another email bashing whedonesque as I was typing this. It appears that the moderators there are good at pissing people off.

Funny - long ago I thought that the site was one sanctioned by Joss. I was happy to become a member. The truth is it is just another random link-gathering site. Yawn. I have a sneaking suspicion that this one stands a better chance than the prior ones due to not linking this thread. I don't have any evidence for this at all, but I'm beginning to wonder if the "prejudice" at whedonesque isn't against Firefly/Serenity as much as it is against fireflyfans.net specifically...
