Well I have to wait even longer than you guys.

Mine is of an Amazon flavour as well and they let me know tonight that it has sprouted wings and is currently heading towards the Atlantic Ocean.
They estimate a Sept 10th delivery!!!

But it usually takes about two weeks to get to the UK so that puts it around the end of the month.

Oh well, good things come to those who wait.

As great as the DVD is and all, I'm a bit bummed out that the 'deals' we're told are so exclusive for buying the DVD seem to be sold out. Have the insiders beaten everyone else to the punch, or are they waiting to see how high demand is ?

How many folks really buy the stuff advertised along w/ the DVD/CDs when they come in the mail ?

I know your feeling, I am in the Marine Corps, got stationed in japan, my copy of Serenity and my Firefly boxed set didn't survive being lost by the airlines for over a month- Thank God I bought the episodes on I-tunes as a backup or i would have died from withdrawls, but I have been without BDM for over 3 months- there is not a single copy on base, i had better fix that, time to order another BDCE!!!- but alas, all of my mail seems to take an extra three days to get here, I sadly must wait until the 24th.

YAY! for once, I am one of the special lucky ones who got it early :-) (not trying to rub it in, just relishing being so in the loop).

Got mine from Amazon. Highlight so far is the Extended scenes, but only about 1/3 of the way thru the extras and commentary at the moment.

Course, I was happy, until someone mentioned a free surprise for those who bought it at Best Buy. Now I've gone from privileged to missing out all in one post!!!
