Vump from a Xenite....

There has been a push for votes recently, but not from the former organizers of Xena voters. When posted on the normal email lists we used, there were a lot of complaints about asking for votes again. Most of the community are very tired of the tv vote stuff. I imagine this small push will last a few weeks tops, then we'll settle down in to our normal no one cares pace of 5-600 votes a day.

The only reason our votes grew in size earlier this year was for two reasons. Push to 300k and then a try for 3k votes in one day for the birthday of Lucy Lawless. I doubt the community will ever respond seriously to any tv-vote call for votes again.

Totally agree Flat, we can't let our guard down.

I remember back in January we were like 60k+ behind Xena and now we're number 1 and at the moment we don't even have a 5k lead.

Even though Jericho fans are far behind at the moment, if we calm down, we could soon see our lead cut drastically. Keep voting Browncoats, we need to take his all the way until the voting ends.

Our weekly average is down a touch (1585 from 1594), Xena's is still going up (952 from 942). But that's still not too bad - yesterday, ours was only up 9 and theirs was up 42. So they're leveling off, and we're still not far from level our own selves.

Can't wait for Monday's graphs.

Browncoat votes picked up, again, yesterday, +3.5% ; Xenite votes dropped -10%. Our lead grows, let's keep it up!

The next goal is 375,000 votes, which will take another 2211 votes, about 1.4 days, at current rate of voting. Not far off from that, is 400,000, or, another 27,211 votes, about 17 days at current voting levels. Then, we shoot for half a million, about 81 days out as we are currently voting.

Every single vote cast is important, Browncoats; if you miss a chance to vote, we will never get that lost vote back.

I think we're startin' to see some fatigue in the Xenite ranks.

We got our own set of allies. Lexx, Charmed, and Battlestar Galactica. (I didn't leave anybody out did I) And there's no formal alliance but I always vote for Angel and Buffy as well. It just seems right.

Just to put things in a bit of perspective:
This year, Firefly has (on average) had 302 more votes per day than it's closest competition (Xena).

Same temps here, you get the 90% humidity too? Vumpin' insane isn't it? Riding my bike in full armor (full face helmet, coat, pants, boots, gloves) is like standing in a sauna. Not to bad as long as I'm rolling at 30+, but standing in traffic on the way home gets a mite uncomfortable.

Cold shower, glass of water, and a fan. Life is good.
