Universal has opened up a Firefly Board in relation to airing the episodes and releasing the collector's edition, with an intriguing show of interest in putting together content for Firefly, and a not so subtle subtext to gauge interest in Firefly.

Translation: After a long campaign of attrition, in which we have held our strength, the Purplebellies are showing a crack in their defenses. Charge.

Thx for the tip and link (posted). I only hope that Universal does not gauge interest in FF soley from the traffic their FF board gets... it would be so inaccurate. Can't they just get an account here?

i'm actually a little dubious of the site so far but - and it's a big but

(just as with can'tstopthesignal.co.uk / sernitythemovie.com / stillflying.net / etc)

there should be support...

i wonder if it would be possible to have...
some sort of online convention???

an event where fan films, fic, flics, images and posts and blogs get screened and swapped from site to site?? (including whedonesque.com??)

Interesting numbers from the Uni-HD boards. The following are all of the forum groups Uni has available followed by the number of threads for each, then the number of replies:

HD Technologies 15 - 40
Battlestar Galactica 5 - 9
Firefly 328 - 4,830
Monk 1 - 7
Northern Exposure 5 - 21
Six Feet Under 2 - 5
Surface 2 - 6
Stargate Atlantis 5 - 7
Sundance on Universal HD 1 - 2
X-treme Sports 1 - 1

So that's 4,823 more posts than Stargate... ALL of the Most Active topics are FF.
Ok, so that's not exactly a killer line-up and BSG has been off for quite a while - still, no question what show has the most buzz of all of Uni's HD shows.

Can anyone help me with the Universal HD boards? I've set up an account, but have not received the validation email. I've even clicked the button "resend validation" (or something close to that).

Moneyguy,

My activation e-mail went to my bulk mail folder. I had to go sort it out from the spam to get activated.
Incidentally, when I finally tried to activate my account, there was some sort of hiccup and it didn't appear to have worked. But when I went to the Uni-HD site, it recognized me. I've heard similar stories from other people.

Thanks for the infomation. In this case it was my att email account. I switched to another email and I received the validation right away. Although I did have the same problem of it not recognizing me until I signed back in.
