Greetings from the great white north. Or Canada as we like to call it on formal occasions. Toronto, Ontario specifically, but in Guelph presently at uni.

Kurgan I just thought that your post was great because my family came to Canada from France 12 generations ago. We were from Normandy, making us (obviously) Normans. For those who don't know their Robin Hood very well, Robin was a Saxon fighting against the invading, oppressive Normans. Sigh...so if you're Mal, I guess I'm the Alliance. Just please don't throw rotting fruit.

P.S. Maid Marrion was a Norman too though, so we aren't all bad

Okay, so I know I'm several months late but had to sound off for the Browncoats in the Mammoth Cave area of south central KENTUCKY.

Our whole family/friend conglomerate has gotten hopelessly addicted (1 from England by way of Toronto, 1 born in Oxford, Mississippi, 1 born in Haiti, 1 from Puerto Rico, 2 Louisianans, and 6 nach'rul borned Kentuckians.)

Addiction is hard, but guess our innate Kentucky appreciation for all the best vices (bourbon, tobacco, horse racin', etc.) has built up stamina.

The Wild, Wild, West...aka Cochise County, Arizona.

I'd be more specifical but no one here has ever even heard of the closest town, which ain't all that close. Tombstone is about the closest town anyone outside of Arizona probably heard of though.

If I'm not careful where I'm walking on the backside of the ranch I'm in Old Mexico and if I ride for about a half hour I'm in New Mexico. Sorta ironical huh?

Originally from the wilds of Western PA. Where I'm currently visiting for a spell and really, really remembering why I moved. Gorram weather...

I live in the city of Groningen, in the north of the Netherlands, but was born in a small village called Uithuizermeeden (don't think the majority on this board can pronounce that), in the province of Groningen. Not to say that I've never been anywhere... Lived in Schotland and Ireland for a period too. If I ever win the lottery I'll move to Wexford, Ireland.

One more Browncoat here as well. Dutch appear to be difficult to convert. Everyone seems to be stuck on Star Trek, the only sci-fi that's aired with regularity. Unless Buffy, Angel and Charmed count as sci-fi, they're quite popular too. Firefly was shown out of order here. Unfortunately.

So, if you are interested, check out meetups.com and sign up for the next firefly meetup! Or, if you are from the NYC area, maybe we could arrange a teeny, tiny mini-shindig or something.

Hi sleepy,

I'm from Frankfurt Germany! So there are more browncoats in our area! Thank God I was starting to feel lonely. Besuch uns doch mal auf unserem Fireflyforum http://48688.forum.onetwomax.de/ oder auf den beiden deutschsprachigen fireflyseiten: http://www.fireflyspace.de.vu/ und http://www.runner.ch/firefly/. There are Browncoats all over the world! Jay! That's so shiny!

Greetings

Devon, England.
Isn't it about time someone made a list of all the areas that have signed in again? I would, but despite my smarts, I have a terrible memory...

ZOE: "Big damn idiots, sir."

Northern suburb of St Paul, Minnesota.

So that makes four of us that live here, I think, if I counted everyone. Sherece, Channain, Honorbound, and me. I also joined very recently.

Gabrielle, I lived in Berlin for a year (study abroad) and loved it! Glad to see there are some Firefly fans out there

Yike! Lots from Suomi (Sp?). I spent three months just south of Tampere...

I'm actually another Coloradoan. I reside in extreme SE Denver. We're late, but Firefly is catching on like wildfire here.

Thanks to Joss and crew, lovin' the show and with much hope for a post movie future! It'll happen if you keep trying... and if we take a hostage.

Emporia, Kansas...right between Topeka and Wichita. And if think the place you live in the midwest sucks, come to out homey little town, with the beef processing plant and the snack cake plant...MMMMMM...the smell of burning blood and cinnamon/sugar.

This is from George's son - haven't you heard of Google? If you can find a way to delete your posting I would do it. I don't know who you are and I don't want to know and will not take steps to find out but I think I know your Dad who would not agree with you, I hope.
