*eh* (Guess this posting is sloppy and deserves secondies.)

(Previously:)
NVG asked about if bein' buzzed and phone callin' 'bout relationship status compared to bein' all kindsa drunk and itchin' for a fight (with respect to the same person) means there's all kinds of hidden craziness going on..
My vote: Yep...and she might not be able to understand or express it yet.

As for the extremely cool half-asian chick...Lemme paraphrase the cartoon..
GO JOE!
(Gorramit, the whole freakin' board thinks you deserve it.) You care 'bout her, but right now you don't owe her any more loyalty than as a distant friend. Go have fun with Felicia.

Hope the D*C-ers have a relaxing weekend and come back refreshed.

Thanks 'Neko. Kinda giggled when john and I were pondering where she gets her incredible color from. I honestly had to ask because the color and her facial features didn't match and I'm actually pretty good at those sorts of things. She's half Japanese.

As for Drunk dialing: I learned to repress all sorts of anger when drinking. It actually works better than when I'm sober.
But as for dealing with someone who's off their nut regardless of sobriety status, there isn't much I want to do with her at the moment.

Thanks for dropping in 'Neko. When does your break start again?

ADD: Gotta run. I'll run in this weekend as I really got to get payroll out early Monday. G'night folks.

Well, aside from hanging out all evening for two evenings I really didn't do much other than that with her. I realized something: she might get me in trouble. She's been divorced for six months after five years with a real dirtbag, still likes to go out dancing in town, and drinks. Okay, putting these things aside I forgot what is said about co dependant reovery: Avoid ANYONE you are easily attracted to.

Not that I won't still give her a chance. We had a whole lotta fun just hanging out. I just wanna be sure that I ain't making a mistake.

Of course that mistake might simply to be having sex with her on a regular basis with no more commitment that to the sexual relationship as she is just as afraid of STI's as I am.

Not much else going on. Shooting with a large group next weekend as a kid everyone calls Sarge is moving away and we want to give him a fun send off.

Good Morning everyone. It has been raining on and off for a few days and I am so enthralled with the brisk, clean mornings. I hope everyone else is offered such a great feeling.

NV- there is a LOT to be said for a no strings relationship...as long as both of you are completely on board with no strings it's all good... That being said, you do have a tendency to be attracted to women in need of rescue...So make sure you're careful and then have some fun!!!! HUGS

Not sure Zeek. I didn't really know until recently. Seems she just gets to hanging around having fun at the shop and that is it. What's funny is that I never got the idea that she needed to be saved or even helped. She makes more money than me, drives an awesome Monte Carlo, and makes her own way in her life. I think it just feels good to have someone elses attention for a change.

Jimi: thanks for the advice. I know there just has to be a preferential choice to be made and some research to make the decision. I'm thinking the research is more than enough reward to find a preferance.

(Smiles for the hand shakey thingy) Thanks Jimi.

I like giving the attention MSG. It ain't like she's waving her stuff openly in front of me. At the onset it was a bit different. She wore some more revealing tops and such, but my focus really wasn't there and I think she caught on to that. Now she is a bit more casual with her clothing and my focus is on her even more now. I had fun. The kinda fun I used to have with Mindy before slipping off her nut. I like girls who love to talk, have a quick wit, warm smile, and that bit of wild spirit behind their eyes. That will never change.

Damn I'm chatty. I should be working. Have to finish payroll within the hour and interviewing four folks after one.

Morning shiny folks!

I'm mostly recovered from my weekend. My last horse show of the year (of the ones I run) went off without a hitch...although I am EXHAUSTED. You've heard my volunteer rants more than once...well, it gets worse as the year goes on. But the last show, I'm down to bare minimum. I was literally working on show stuff from 8 am on Sat to 11-30pm, was at the barn at 7am on Sun and didn't leave until 7pm. That kinda schedule tires a girl out. :D

I did get a chance to ride (not my horse...he's still recovering) and had some fun. And turns out this will be good schooling for me as Show will be out of the game for about 6 weeks. Eek. The big putz. That means I had to call yesterday and un-RSVP myself from the $1000 Hunter Challenge we qualified for. Boo hiss. There's rarely a chance to win money in the hunters at the shows I go to and I was looking forward to the opportunity.

I like the idea of "John Cusak, High School Career Counselor" or "John Cusak, he just bitch slapped me and changed my life."

Bought Knocked Up this morning and can't wait to get home. Saw it already, but wanna watch it over and over again. Seems I watched it at a time when some of the stuff happening was too real for me. But I might be able to laugh a bit more now.

Oh happy day!!! I traded some PB stuff for 200 buck worth of work at Johns shop. Not only is that cool, but I get the friend discount so my 200 bucks worth is other people's 350 to 400 bucks worth. Life is rockin' right now.

hehe that movie is awesome. It's really a guy movie though. All the girls I know who saw it were not as impressed. Probably especially cause they're at the same sorta stage as the girl is. So, they were more like "omg I gotta run out and buy a chastity belt". Though it occurs to me that this is what after school specials really should have been like.

Show that movie in sex ed and the girls will get the picture way quicker than some lame documentary.

Well you can always get the "unrated" DVDs.

The rated one is R R and extra R. Not for nudity though there is a birth scene that made audiences go "ewwwww". Though in a sex ed class I guess that would be a bonus.

There is a ton of swearing though. A sex ed class should be mature enough for profanity though right? I mean half the subject matter is considered profanity by some.

"Cusack For President"

A campaign to elect John Cusack as President of the United States has been launched on the internet. On the site, www.cusackforpresident.com, fans can fill out a form to register their support for the star. They can then order a T-shirt with the slogan "Cusack for Prez" emblazoned across it and distribute flyers - which the site urges them to give to friends and movie fans waiting in movie lines. The site proclaims, "He made the tough decisions in Grosse Pointe Blank. He couldn't be bought in Eight Men Out. He's cooler than John Malkovich. And we like his politics so far."

But who wouldn't want John Cusack for Pres. with Jeremy Piven as his VP? That's a pairing I could stand behind. Might even make me interesting in politics.

Hugs for msg, too. hope the day gets better.

As for soundtracks reminds me of a movie MsG and I were watching on regular TV the other night. Even though they were blanking out the swearing the editor didn't pay attention to the opening song which had pleanty of unedited language.

Reagan was awesome. He went all Incredible Hulk on the Berlin wall and tore the thing down with his bare hands. He was an economic genius too. It's all the fed's fault for messing up his master plan.

Hmmmm new ponderable. Best actor/actress for president. Throw in a vice president for fun too.

Off hand I'm going with Tobey Maquire for pres. He seems like a lovable kid and and likes poker. Vice president I'll go with jessica biel. As a powerless figure head I think she'll be wonderful. I don't think we could go wrong with having her picture in the paper too much.

In honor of the founding member of the 76th IB, founder of the Imponderables thread, and a brother in arms I am graced to call friend, this thread is dedicated to Tristan. I know there is static here and there, but oh well. Regardless of our qualms we have to set things aside from time to time to say:

Thank you.

So here's to Tristan and all of out brothers, sisters, friends who will be representing us at D*C this year. I am rarely so proud as I am of all of you.

Thank you, brutha-man, for posting this, and thanks to all that responded.

We did show well at the Con, and many new family members were forged that weekend. Even managed to get some of us with friction still between us into the same house.

I won't say I miss this thread, as it has been so long since I have spent time here, but it looks like it's headed back to what it once was. I see familiar faces and some newer ones, and that make me happy. I am glad to see this is still going on in some form or another.

Keep Pondering! We might one day figure each other out!

You just need to think outside the box. When I was a kid I explained to my mom that I could make the english language more efficient by changing the spelling of works. What do we need this whole 'y' letter for anyway? 'i' works just fine.

I'm sure you could respell some words to make them more efficient too.
