Total votes Xena: 404,042 (403,459)

Yesterday, Browncoats voted 1,339 (1,309) times. SHINY!

Yesterday, Xenites voted 583 (551) times.

(Xenites voted 756 (758) times less than Browncoats, yesterday).

Firefly is 30,164 (29,408) votes ahead of Xena. We are still ahead of the combined vote total of Xena and Bonanza!

Browncoat votes rose by 30 yesterday, 2.29%; Xenite votes rose by 32, 5.81%.

Our next, big goal is 450,000, is 15,794 (17,133) votes away, about 11.8 days out.

Further out is half a million, 65,794 (67,133) votes away, still about 49.14 days out as we are currently voting.

4,587,517 (4,574,433) votes have been counted as of 10/10/07. 13,084 (12,776) votes were cast yesterday. In order to take ownership of 10% of all votes cast yesterday, we needed to vote 1,309 (1,278) times, which we exceeded by 30 votes. We increased our share to 9.4649465% (9.4627468%) of all votes ever cast, and climbing.

We're closin' in on that 10% slice of the pie on Rich Labonte's charts! If each of us voting managed to eke out just one more vote per day, it would make a huge difference; we could start catching up on that 10%, not to mention reaching our goal numbers much more quickly.

Our 1000+/day streak is still going strong, at 72 days, continuing to beat our previous best-ever streak! Just 2 days to beat Xena's all-time record of 73 days! Let's keep the votes up, and, maintain our streak!

Thank you, browncoats, for your help! Based on today's results I calculated that Combat! will catch us in 111 days, but we 21 days before that when we catch La Femme Nikita. SG-1 which was also a danger got 5 votes less than Lexx today, so if the trend continues, they won't pass us. That means that Lexx's place in top 10 is safe for the very near future. However Angel will pass us in 156 days, which takes us back on 11th place :( But anyway, Lexxians are extremely grateful for your help and will continue to vote for Firefly every time they vote for Lexx!

For the last six months or so, I get in about ten votes a day (Firefly, BSG, Farscape and Lexx). It adds up.

It's funny you started voting and highlighting this poll; this is the week I quit it.

Why? There's a lot of 'insincere' voting going on there. Some one is alternating between Jericho and Firefly week to week; who ever is doing it (multiple or one) seems to be having fun 'forcing' one show to win over the other and alternating weeks. This makes the overall weekly votes quite the joke.

When you consider the 'laxer standards' for TV Tally's enforcement, or lack of, one person / one vote, you quickly realize that one person can actually get a pretty large number of votes in; it quickly becomes a contest of which side is willing to be most unethical. In any case, I've lost interest over there.

If you find it fun, have at it. But I've lost interest in it.

I really prefer not to waste my time with a poll in which those willing to, for lack of a kinder term, cheat, can gain the advantage. Nertz. I was just gettin' used to TV Tally, too.

For the next goal, how about 100 days above 1K? That'd be pretty shiny. Plus, if I'm doing the math right:

26 days from here to 1K100.
25 days from there to half a million at current weekly average voting rates.

And it was about 30 from beating our own personal best to beating Xena's best. We seem to do well with goals over that kind of timeframe...

Anyway we need to be careful tomorrow to stay focused. Having claimed the record, people might slack off - there's a real danger we might drop below 1K in Sunday's numbers.

Well now. This is a might interesting.
During the most recent (I can say that now 'cause we've exceeded it *insert happy dance here*) 73 consecutive days above 1,000 votes:
Firefly: 93,693
Xena: 93, 543
Difference: 150!
So... Yay us! We beat 'em. But at the same time 150 vote difference?! That's it? That's all the difference we could manage between us & the Xenites in the course of our (arguably) best 73 days?

Wait a tick... what is the difference between us & them for our best, dunno, pick a number, 50 days?
Firefly: 74,159
Xena: 70,391
Difference: 3,768
OK, I feel better now.

Total Votes while @ 1,500+

So let's all be glad Xena doesn't spend much time playing at 1,500+.

If I'd known you were gonna cook up that much stuff, I'd've brought a bigger spoon!

Pretty surprising numbers, considering. I most definitely thought the variance between Xena and Firefly over those 73 day periods would have been much greater, in our favor.

Ah, well, now we can shoot for a new record which will be insurmountable for the realistically foreseeable future. Aside from our weekend dips (the scores, not the voters =^[.]~=), we are still goin' strong!

The Dark Shadows fans have been increasing their daily votes; many are also now Firefly voters, as well, and, they and Lexx definitely kept us above that 1k line on several occasions.

I think this record has long legs under it. Cruise during the week, hustle on the weekends, should see us maintaining, when we hit our high-score checkpoints.
