Time for a new addition to the ongoing saga of Browncoat purdyness!
If you're so inclined, post a picture of yourself so we can all see who we talk to here

How to post images here: http://www.fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=5&t=29479
(Short version: Image must be hosted somewhere on the internet and all you need is the URL. Photobucket, imageshack, and flickr are your friends. See above-linked thread for further details, or click 'reply with quote' to see how others have done it.)
Also, PLEASE NOTE: the tutorial thread is an excellent resource and we don't want it to get overloaded and weighed down. Please test your image posts in one of the many 'test' threads scattered over the board, particularly out of the way in troll country, or start your own to help keep the tutorial nice and easy to load.

Most recent picture thread: http://www.fireflyfans.net/mthread.asp?b=11&t=31136

A lovely lady called Shamrock just got a Jayne hat and posted pics in her blog. She wants to see as many other Jayne hats as possible, and since comments won't allow pics, I thought we should do it here. So if you've got a hat, postee! If not, then post something anyway

(Thanks Steamer!)

And dano, the skyine is pretty nice. You need to see about getting a cunning hat though, to not have one is criminal. Everyone needs one, they Rule!

Gorrammit, missed firsties once again. And no cunning-hat pics to boot....not that I'd ever be in the market for such a hat, not being Jayne's biggest fan....(I'll leave you all to vie for that title)

So will some more Halloween Shindig photos suffice? (I'm the one in the Malwear, ftw. )

Wanna?

Navyseils and MSG: Thank you for your compliments. I'd like to think I'm unphotogenic. There are times when pictures just DON'T do me well. Check out my blog. You'll know what I mean.

And causal I'm not a guy that ever wears shirts, but the one in the last pic was pretty cool. One of three shirts I might consider wearing. The other ones involve big pictures of marvel characters, so its progress.

I might need to contribute another photo to this here thread myself someday now I'm posting more often...

Pin a ribbon on you!!! You got it right. He was a member of the band that played that night. (Wylde Nept @ http://www.wyldenept.com/home.php) and they all dressed in Sgt. Pepper garb. Their first set was all the songs from that ablum that they learned just for that night...and then the rest of the night they played their regular music, traditional and original Celtic pub tunes. They are AWESOME.

And sadly no, Mark didn't win the contest. Someone dressed up in a chainmail knight suit with a World of Warcraft bubble above his head that read "Leeroy" won.

But thank you all for your complements on the costume.

I seem to be the focal point in an on going joke that is flying COMPLETELY over my head. LOL. Figures. That usually happens. I'm just glad something is drawing people's attention. The ongoing joke seems to be that people are saying you are pretty...which isnt really a joke. More just people throwing compliments your way. Soak them all up.

I turn and run from pretty girls all the time though, just ask the folks that saw me at DragonCon. I'm sure plenty of folks do it, I'm not that weird.

Also cause of your picture I had to go dig out my sinclair spectrum...but I cant find the joystick.

Now time for a story. The other day I made some sausage and bacon. I cant cook. I thought I might have poisoned myself, as dodgey pork aint good. I survived, so being the smart guy I am guess what I had for breakfast...

thats right folks, more slightly iffy looking sausage!

Its all good folks, I ate iffy pork before...

Ugggh...maybe I should have quit while I was ahead...

Nah, it's probably just the pack of cakes I had earlier, it'll be fine.

Moral of the story is...eat a pack of cakes between helpings of iffy looking pork and you'll live to tell the tale.

Here's mine:

And where shall I be taking this hat? Maybe somewhere where people who matter (i.e. 'in the business') might notice?
But what kind of place could that possibly be? Ah...

Local film festival! This weekend, my film school's paying for me (and the rest of the department) to go to as many screenings as I want. I'll be at least checking out one tomorrow night called "Monster Camp", a documentary about LARPers.

LA, dawling, Dylan makes the cutest lil ninja! What was Sean?
I just love that cape on you!
Ok and your lil kitty, adorable! You'll have to coax Angel into an appearance some time.

Causal, ok the cuteness of that lil scarecrow is just way too much! I love your swing dance outfits! Makes me really wanna go to swing dances again (haven't been for ages).

Koffee, you did a fantastic job on that costume! Gives me hope on making my own costumes for D*C, for I too am lacking in the cashy money.

Good to finally see ya gorramgroupie!

MsG, I just have to you for being so damn sweet!

Navy, you better be at the next D*C so I can glomp you embarrassingly for being so cute! Eh, what the hell, till then

I know school's a pain, Rose hun, but at least ya look darling driving to it!
Oh and

Orpheus!! How are ya? Hey, what happened to the facial hair?

Hiya GoddessWarrior89! So ya went brunette, huh? So do we have more fun??

Ok, did I get everyone? Lord, I hope so. That took me ages!
Here's what happens with candles, melted wax, boredom and digital manip fun (no, not that, the other thing...)!

Oh and me looking rather exhausted.

What sort of dancing do you do? East Coast? Lindy? Balboa? Shim Sham? (look everyone, my nerd is showing!!)

BTW, you look great, exhausted or not:

Warrior--nice photos. Love the costume, but is there anymore of it than you with your hair up? I mean, what constitutes the costume other than the hairdo?

Orph--love the Jayne hat, brother. Got me one of those. I get it out every so often.

OH it could well be fake, but I have seen a few teachers that would totally do that... it's why I think teachers should be screened as carefully as FBI agents and others who take personality and IQ tests as well as other training and stress testing and such. Teachers have a huge impact and can really make or break many kids... if you aren't suited for it, they shouldn't let you do it...

Cute kitty LA.

Nice letter MsG, even if it's fake, I have had a teacher like that before. I have also had some really cool ones that would admit that they were wrong. I had many more of the latter type, that's why I think I got a pretty good education.
