OK, because the chaos is starting already and I don't like chaos, here I am putting myself forward, bullhorn in hand. (Anyone don't like me talking like I'm charge, please feel free to take over!!)
Unless Haken shows up and directs us different, let's officially declare the next few Mondays as repost days for all our lost fics. Of course, more Mondays will be added as needed, but let's see how it goes.
Please help with keeping this thread bumped to the front page, to get the word out. And get those fics ready to put back where they belong!

Best of luck with that. People who could care less about being kind and not flooding the BSR are going to do what they want on whatever day they want. But I applaud you for trying :)

No, I'm sure not everyone will follow a reposting schedule. I mean, I've already reposted one of my own LOL! I think I may have helped start the mini-avalanche... oops. 
But I figure this way the writers with lots of lost fics (and some do have LOTS!) can have a chance to post all they want, guiltfree, flame-free.

Aww, I thought it had all been recovered because mine is all back. :( Sorry to hear not everyone has been so lucky!
While I normally HATE-HATE-HATE flooding, I don't blame anyone for reposting, mostly because... the more fic in the archives, the better. :)

I think this is a great idea. Of course not all the BSR junkies check in on the threads regularly. Seems like we should see if Hayken would switch this one to the news area on the homepage.
One good side to this whole fiasco, I have caught some really good fics that I seem to have missed the first time around.

The Blue Sun Room goes dark and chaos has come again. What can ya do? Way The Flood is going now, you'd think you're in HALO. :) At this point? Best to ride it out, I think, and let folks just re-upload their stuff and get it over with. We'll pass through it soon enough.
I, too, applaud your efforts, though. And thanks for pointing out what's so damn important about bein' proper. The rampant uploaders, however, were not so enlightened. :)

Good idea Mal4Prez, I'll save any further postings to Mondays though am one of the guilty ones who posted up a lot of what was lost in the early days so a ton of sorries if that caused problems. I was just of the mind the sooner folks inputted the lost stories the better, the way then being cleared for wall to wall new stuff. Ali D :~)

I should note that this wasn't my idea. I believe AbbeyGirl brought it up in one of the FFF Central threads, I just liked the plan and ran with it. So kudos to AbbeyGirl!
And I back up Jane's blogged request - new feedback is good! My goodness though, readers are going to have their hands full on Monday LOL!

Mine are still there too although I haven't had time to log on for a while and so I don't know if they've come back or never disappeared in the first place. Just luck I guess.

Since I've recovered all but one of my lost chapters via goggle cache, I've got a whole bunch of feedback that I think it'd be a shame to lose. I mean, people put effort into writing these, and they're often as interesting as the fic. To me they are! So I'm tacking the comments on to the end of my chapters... or maybe I should put them in as one big comment? I don't know. (Opinions?)
I figured I'd throw this idea out there. Again it's not original LOL! I guess I'm a big fic-posting idea whore. All credit to Leiasky this time.

I'm not sure how much we need another repost day, cause it seemed a whole lot got done last week. But things are still trickling through (in a tasteful, polite way - yay for FF ficwriters! We're so good. ) so let's do repost Monday again. If anyone is sick of being polite and wants to flood, your time is tomorrow!
