Probably not, unless you're a really good guesser (like me, so people like that do exist). What you do is you call up some of the really, really smart people in your class, or you find a cheat-sheet website. Or at least, those are the solutions that I've found when I didn't understand something.

Well ya see, it's three essay questions, so I think all I have to do is cover the main themes of the texts and make up some bulls#%$ opinion and I should be okay. Either way I have a decent grade in the class, so even if I bomb this test, or just do mediocre (which is more likely) I'll still pass. It's a gen ed, doesn't go toward my major, just a requirement for credit, lol. It's my last exam, so at this point I just want to SURVIVE it. lol.

And it will get more interesting in the next few days when Dark Shadows knocks Hercules off the Top 40. DS has apparently been getting over 400 votes a day down in the nominations basement, and a show usually gets more votes per day when they get onto the Top 40. The last few shows to enter the Top 40 managed to keep their momentum going.

Where do you live and what type of weather are you experiencing? The reason I ask is because if it is possible that the weather will turn into rain or worse freezing rain then the road crews will not plow because slushy roads while they do not offer much traction do offer infinitely more traction than glare ice.

I grew up in Buffalo, N>Y> and they'd plow all day and night in a snowstorm; then lived in Denver where they'd 'wait' until the storm passed before plows showed up...each place is different, I guess... pizza in the oven vump.

I drove by Buffalo New York once during a flash snow storm, and let me tell anybody who aint from the North East that they experience the worst snow storms in the United States. I thought that by being from Vermont that I knew about storms, but I was wrong. Granted it didn't help that I was driving tired.

I'm in CT, and there's no chance of it turning to rain or freezing rain. it's all powdery snowboarder-loving snow. we've got about seven inches, and they plowed it maybe when there was an inch on the ground? problem is, one jerk decided to stop on a hill (probably because he's not a new englander and was scared of all this strange white stuff) and got stuck slantways across the lane, and couldn't go up or down. My bf's car doesn't have 4wd, so WE almost got stuck because there were two people in front of us who stopped because taht other car was tryign to get unstuck and they didn't want to chance passing him and either meeting someone head on at the top of the hill, or him finally getting free and t-boning them. they finally did move, and our car's tires stopped spinning (he'd been stepping on the gas this whole time trying to regain traction from having stopped, and it didn't feel like it was gonna happen) enough that we got up the hill and continued on our way. but the reason that even happened was because the roads were practically unplowed. I mean, i've NEVER in my nineteen years of living in new england seen a main road THAT bad. ridiculous.

You don't know Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, or, the spinoff, Angel?

Ooh, are you in for some Jossified goodness, RiverFlan!

Buffy was based on a movie, which parodied the usual vampire movie tropes. In this case, the "Chosen One' was a Valley-Girl, Buffy, who didn't quite take the whole thing seriously. Great movie, surprising casting, too!

Then, it was made into a great TV show, with a lot more depth and character development. It has a lot of the great characterizations, plot twists, and dialog for which Joss is so famous. It's not Firefly, but, you ought to enjoy it, on its own merits.

Angel was a spinoff, as mentioned, a little darker, mebbe, but, still, a lot of fun! The protagonist is a centuries old male hottie vamp named Angelus; he and Buffy have... Relationship issues. But, anyway, I hope that gives you something to work from!
