I'm concerned for the series..

Sadly, the pilot was pretty weak..and worst of all, Summer wasn't very good :( Just not a good role for her IMO. Even with River's butt-kicking in BDM, Summer just isn't an action-star type of actress.

She shined at moments, but they were all the moments where she wasn't asked to be "the Terminator". It seemed like she was playing two separate parts, depending on whether she was butt-kicking or being "sensitive". Just didn't work for me.

Thoughts?

I love this part of the description of Summer's character on the Wiki that was started for the show:

Cameron’s model number is unknown; however, she is an advanced cyborg unlike any we have seen. With uniquely human characteristics and drop-dead looks, she is the most lethal and convincing infiltrator yet.

I can't wait to see this show. :D

That's actually the same reason I didn't get that one rallem. First Contact was a great movie though(best of all the Star Trek films easily). To each 'is own. Besides I love the battle damaged look on Summer. This poster is going next to my Serenity and Those Left Behind posters, which are beside where my Blue Sun travel posters will go once I get them. Even if I don't like the TV series she's just so gorram pretty.

Got mine about 2 weeks ago (summer in all her cyborg glory)
the package was kinda banged up and the poster was pretty wrinkled but I fixed that (it was free who am I to complain)

Well it was free and it was from F*X so I seriously doubt I'll ever get mine. Either it's on it's way and all bent and crinkled or it never even shipped. Either way I stopped expecting it a couple weeks ago.

I got my poster several weeks ago. I believe there was a limit of 500 per design, so I guess they went quickly.

You know I missed the part about the limit of 500 per design. Oh well. I really didn't need a Terminator:SCC poster. I'm not crazy about the show... I mostly watch it for Summer.

Still I wish someone made a really nice Firefly poster. For the series. There never made a poster for the movie that I loved. I only have the international version that says "From the creator of Buffy & Angel" or whatever. It has only a few cast members and River looks more like River but still a bit... edited. Not as crappy as the ugly and lame US release that doesn't represent the movie at all.

Gotta give a shout out to 11th Hour... if they had hired her instead of whatever idiot they did get... well I would bet the BDM would have made a lot more.

It usually takes at least six weeks for these things to get out and they are done by zip codes, so the east coast will be first. I haven't gotten mine and I signed up before I post it here. It might be a good idea to email them requesting they offer them again. I am sorry that this went out on the RSS, its kinda old for that. If a lot of people ask for more maybe they would print some, it wouldn't hurt to get the newsletter, it would show them we are interested in the show and if they offer them or something else then you will know. Just a thought..........

Not sure about the order in which they shipped the posters, nor can I remember exactly how long it took. I do not think it was six weeks, more like four. I live in Texas, and my son lives in California, and he got his a day before I did, and we signed up at the same time, when I was visiting him in the middle of December.

BTW, I have not received any newsletter emails yet.
