For the first time since Sept 13, 2007, the Xenites have broken 800 votes!

What does this have to do with me?

It's simple folks:
Firefly has been in 1st place for 29 weeks. Our daily votes totals have been falling for most of that time. Our daily votes have now fallen low enough that Xena can beat us.

All I'm asking is one (1) vote from you each day http://richlabonte.net/tvvote. No need to install potentially dodgy (it ain't, but I understand) software to remind yourself, no risking a popup at an inoportune moment at work, or invoking the wrath of the IT department. Just one vote each day per Browncoat will make the difference. More of course is better, but all I'm asking is 1.

AVW - The VOMP or VUMP is followed by the name of the show we nominate during that round. We switch to help each other out.

Of course the vote is always for Firefly, but since you can vote for more than one show at a time, I am currently also voting for Buffy (which needs the help desperately) and for Dark Shadows (as a favor to Ray)

Hope that helps.

Looks like we will all have to do what we can to fill Ray's shoes in his absence. That's a big job. I know FT can handle much of it. I will bring the Surface stats here as well, in case any of you are following. I'm sure you guys will fill in some of the info too.

Then we just have to keep people motivated.

Why would they waste that precious chance to nominate a show. Esp. since our show Surface could really use the support, in our long climb to the top.

I am really ticked about yesterday's low Noms for Surface, and am preparing a powerful "guilt-inducing" mass mailing to those signed up at my site.

I apologize for our not delivering the usual amount of support for your show. I did my part personally with 16 or 17 votes. Don't ask me where the other so-called Surface fans are hiding.

Discouraged isn't the word, Ray.

Ashamed is a closer fit. 17 of those votes were mine, which means we got only 42 votes from other sources. Excluding our support from your site, that would mean that only 2 or 3 other people out of 730 were voting from this site.

Now, that I see how little effort most Surface fans are willing to put into a poll that only requires 30 seconds each hour, while they are on the computer, I now realize why Firefly fans got a movie, but we didn't.

I apologize for not being able to deliver the support for your show, I was certain would be there while our "fans" supported Surface.

Clearly, my faith was misplaced.
