Way back in primary school (Americans call it elementary?) I played the narrator in our school's production of 'Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat'. There was one particular song that rhymed off about fifty different colours in a row. To this day I can still remember that bit of the song word for word. All the others are patchy now (except for two big solos I had to do) but those colours got stuck in my brain and never left.

I can rhyme off all the counties of Ireland too, thanks to another primary school teacher. She had us rhyming off all the rivers and mountains here too, but those have been lost to my brain.

Ah, MSB...if the review didn't find anything wrong, she would feel horrible about herself. Your files could be textbook and the reviewer would still find something wrong. Take it less as a reflection of you ('cause we all know your wonderful) and more as a reflection of the stupidity of bureaucracy.

Me...I'm with CK...slow death by ulcers for all the f#$%wits of the world. I'm so tired of them all. Got one woman at the barn who lives for drama. I'm sooo incredibly sick of her stirring the freakin' pot. Apparently a month or so ago someone at her old barn went off on her...how she hated her and thought she was a meddlesome bitch. It's scary, but I'm starting to feel the same way. Of course the drama llama thought it was completely out of the blue and undeserved. Heh. Not. She's currently being pissy with me because she thought her horse was 16.2 and when I measure mine to know how tall he is for his sales ad, she asked to have her's measured too. Turns out her horse is 15.3 (which is what I had estimated) and mine's 16.2 (mine was 16 almost 1 the last time I measure him...he's grown in 5 years) That's my fault HOW?

Lets see: the cats at work dig crap out of the garbage, tear up all kinds of stuff with their scratching, and have recently sprayed into the back of my truck making it smell horrible costing me five dollars at the car wash. If I could bring my marker to work for a sound hosing I most definately would.

ADD: I tended to do both Zeek depending on the person. Kinda sucked really. Reverted to trusting only those closest to me and pushing out a few less than reliable. Works better that way for me.

I tend to trust people too much, both personally and professionally. A few years ago I got burned pretty badly by trusting someone too much in business, so I find that professionally sometimes I tend towards not trusting people I really should trust. But generally speaking I'm a trusting person, and I've had to build up a good emotional recovery system for the times I do get burned.

Today is an office day, so I won't be around. Things went better yesterday though than they have been so far -- one of the founders called me into his office and asked what was up, that he could tell I was stressed and annoyed. We talked it through, and he said that one of the things he loves about me is that I'm fiery and passionate (lol), but that when I start getting stressed and annoyed it freaks everyone else out (I think they think I'll quit, which will put them up Shit's Creek without a paddle). So next time, he says, I should come yell at him because he can take it, lol.

Tomorrow is an office day too, but I'll try to stop by and say hi on Friday if nothing else.

High five for CK. That's where I end up too. I figure that in the end if I get burned by someone who's a jerk it's better than if I'm constantly looking over my shoulder. I trust people too much. I generally have faith in people unless they're given me a reason not to. Maybe that's why I'm always worrying about others' needs before my own, huh.

Woohoo, MSB is almost out of the strange state of Utah.

Trust: I tend to trust too little, so I wish I could do it more. I will only let people so close or will depend on them so much until I know they are trustworthy. Even then I have a hard time trusting them to not disappoint me. IMO, it's not the best way to live and can be isolating.
