The Alliance is more of a threat than I ever will be cap't. plus with an operative on board our cargo is gorramed certain to not be impounded by the Alliance and I can use ur boat for contacting the Browncoat intel.

just to recap the meeting we all had in the galley 'bout them 2 new fireflys i found...

Hey all.
As you can plainly see we found a crew in rapid fashion, and a fine crew at that.
But a new developement has ... well...developed.
I've found 2 more 'out of commision' fireflys that have been restored by someone who owed me a favor.
My dilema is this - I need to fill 2 more crews for these 2 fireflys.
Now I'd be much obliged if all of you would stay on my boat but... fair is fair and I'm giving you a chance to pick a spot on 1 of the 2 fireflys before I go public to fill the spots.
They will both be named after our fallen friends from SERENITY.

Ship 1: the 'BOOK'

Ship 2: the 'WASH'

We, in the true sense of the word, will become a fleet,in effect tripling our influence to get SERENITY back in the air.
Again,wanna keep ya but can't stop ya from takin' your leave, either way we'll be workin' together.

here's how it is...one of the rebuilt FIREFLYS is just about ready to fly so... i'm takin' YINYANG (bring vera) and SHINYFRYE with me to finish repairs to the 'BOOK'. O2 will fly the rest of you in TRANQUILITY to ITA MOON to salvage a few more parts for the 2 new ships... bein' as OPERATIVE JAI has intel that the alliance has a cruiser headed our way.
we meet back here on AQUILA in 3 days where anyone wantin' to be on 1 of the other boats can take their things and be on their merry.
the BOOK will be lookin' for a crew in 4 days.

u wont be fixin the ship, instead ull be carrying VERA cuz i have intel that the Alliance is very near. I hate complications.
We get the BOOK ready to fly and Niskas ruttin' hit squad ambushes us 10 minutes after we leave the secret caves where the rebuilt fireflys are.
gunplay ensues, i take a bullet in the leg, yinyang takes one in the ... shoulder, but we make it safely to Tranquility which just landed at aquila base.
but now niskas men are blockading the hills where the hidden cave entrance is, and no one can get in to fly the BOOK out.
we have no choice, we hit the black and look for more jobs. maybe we'll be able to get back to the BOOK in the future.
i just hope they're not tracking us...

If you are looking for a full system-wide diagnostic for your 'Firefly' then I have extensive experience with this class of vessel. I will run all the major reports and testing you would expect but I can also offer some unique upgrades that might be of use to you.

You can contact me when you land in Londinium and we can negotiate in person then.

Niska sent me on a job that went bad. Reavers. I lost my crew and my boat. Since then I have been working on his space station watiing for a chance to get even. I might be able to cause some trouble here, that could draw away your blockade guards. If theres something in it for me.

getting back at niska sounds good to a lot of people. you draw away the guards and we'll hit the caves and get the BOOK airborn.
once we're in the black we meet you in a predetermined spot, pick you up in the BOOK and you can captain it, if that suits you.
you are going to need at least a 1st mate and mechanic...as long as you can fly it by yourself temporarily.
we'll find the rest of the crew as we go.
wait for us to clear diagnostics in londinium then tell us when the diversion starts, we'll move in then.

Just the type of generous offer I was looking for. I'll save you the details for now but I'll cause a ruckus that will have Niska calling in every gun he has to clean up. As to crewing the Book, if it takes a while thats fine. I'll need to lay low after this anyway.
I assume the standard 13% cut will suffice for the rent of the ship?

Detail: Embedded unauthorised transponder - query: Alliance/rival?
Recommendations: Disable then recheck system. Could reprogram transponder to your advantage. Will require some time to decode and rebuild but can be done offline without effecting main functionality once removed from system.

Conclusions:
Once work agreed to remove transponder need 2 hours to complete. Further reprogramming can be done onboard if I agree to fly with you.

rest of you - plans changed. we're headin' back to aquila to sneak the BOOK out of hiding. we have a diversion waiting for the blockade but we'll still hit it expecting 'company' so we'll have to go in armed...some of us anyway.
others will be back-up in case of 'complications'. thats it for now, O2 bring us back nice and quiet.

O2, once the area is clear, set us down in the lake inside that crescent shaped hill range... we can float right? if we are airtight for space we should definately float in water... please say we can float.
if there is an ambush being left for us they won't expect that plus 1 of the hidden entrances to the hill range are close to the lake.
JUBAL, you are going to have to fly the BOOK out once the hills' false canopy opens.
the BOOKs new captain will meet up with us soon to take over command.
operativeJAI, YINYANG, and i will provide cover from the top of the hill just in case. once the BOOK is airborn we meet back on TRANQUILITY and follow the BOOK into the black.

p.s. thanks to my old freind sensei daisuke - owner of this hill range and its hidden caverns for his help with collecting, rebuilding and sheltering these old fireflys.
