I stroke of luck has allowed me to lease the Book from ShadowCaptain. And I need a crew. Because a cuts going to the Tranquility's Captain, were going to have to work twice as hard to keep our boat in the air. That means big risks. The up side will be the big rewards.
I have a risky job lined up, but need at least a four crew members to pull it off.
Job descriptions are below. Sign up and lets go to work.

1st mate: Pecos
pilot:
engineer(not looking to buy a lot of parts so you have to improvise):
Mercenary (public relations person):
Doctor(Don't have to be top 3%. We plan on putting bullets into people not the other way round):

Ok Crew. I've been monitoring Tranquility's traffic.

They ran into a mess of trouble trying to get the Book off world.

Seems like Niska took offense to my modifications to his Skyplex. I don't expect him to be any happier once he finds out about the credits I boosted from his account, but we needed some stake money for this venture.
The Book might be delayed getting to Boros while Tranquility patches up their crew.

While we're waiting we still have some positions to fill. I can get by with some basic mechanical stuff, I'm sure our new pilot can help and maybe our new Merc can handle a grease gun, but we need a real mechanic to keep us floating.

Well seeing as how you managed to get on board the Book 'fore I've even taken command, I'm guessing your a stowaway. Either you got past their crew in the middle of a firefight or you got onboard when JAI went to the Alliance for patching up. Neither could'a of been easy so you ain't weak I'll give ya that.

Tell you what, things seem a little off with some of Tranquility's crew. Might be nothing but you be my eyes and ears on the Book till I take command of her, yeah I still think all ships are girls even the ones named after men folk. You do that and you just might find a place here.

I suspect well be getting you some company back here soon enough.

***Leaves Brit and heads up stairs. Peeks into one shuttle then cross to the other. The door is jammed****
Wash, make sure we got a good seal on the port shuttle bay. Hatch won't open, dont want it flying off when we launch.

***Crosses the Galley, some of the crew is already there***

***Enters engine room. Impressed that this room is squared away. Walks over to the Accelerator Core ***
Don't worry now. You just get us through a couple of jobs and I'll find someone to take good take of you.

***Back through the galley everyone is present***

Once you get it inputted meet us in the galley.

I know The Books kind'a bare but I wanted you to know it's your ship (as long as you pay on time) So I didn't want to be meddling with how she looked. I hope you find a good crew and wish you the best out in the Black.

Welcome aboard Padre. Seeing as how we haven't been able to find any pillars of the community to lease our spare shuttle, having a shepard on board will give us a little respectablity. That being said, if you don't mind pitching in from time to time, I think we can work together to accomplish both our goals. Me getting paid and you spreading the word to the fuzzy wuzzys.

Now 'fore any of you go taking a high ground on me, both the ranchers and the farmers use slaves to work the fields so I'm thinking them shooting each other up, might be the for the best. Course they find out we're selling to both side I'm sure they'll take offence. So we split up. Mobbex, you and Wash will deliver to the farmers in the shuttle. Since I ain't heard hide nor hair from our first mate since he signed on, I'm thinking we'll have to swing back by and pick him up. I'll take the other load and deal with the ranchers. If anything goes bad make your way back to The Book and wait for me to get back. If something happens to me, you come quick like and rescue me. Dong ma?

Load the rest on the mule. It will take me a mite longer to get back since the port side shuttle door still jammed tight. Wash says he might be able to cut the hydraulics, but not sure what that will do to the rest of the system. We need a gorram mechanic.

Padre if you'll stay here on the Book and look after our stowaway, I'd appreciate it. Don't go venturing off the boat. I here the hill folks round here kidnap strangers. Also we'll be steering clear of that reward job. ***trying to hide the guilty look on my face***

Clarification: A Gamer is someone who hosts high stakes (or not so high - depending on the venue) gambling, such as Poker, Tall Card, etc. Will take shuttle to where gambling is scheduled (think of it as a travelling mini casino). Game will take place in shuttle.

The House is like the Guild, only for Gamers. In gambling, the House always wins right?

I would be willing to bunk in a passenger dorm until your Captain returns. Then he and I can finalize the shuttle lease.

I am not sure where Oram is at the moment, but I am at a skyplex owned by a Mr. Adlai Niska. He has a very unlovely rep, but he really likes to gamble.

I have concluded my business with him and would like to depart from this place as soon as possible.
