Oh, I would just about kill for one with no metal in it. Those bones poke in the most painful places if they get bent wrong, which they always seem to do. All it takes is one attempt to sit down. Of course, mine is not custom made, that makes a huge differance...if I ever get the money or a rich boyfriend I am having one made just for me!!!

Yes, she is, they got married during the filming of OoG. It is mentioned in the commentaries that that was the reason she was hurt for most of that episode. Unless I am smoking crack and totally mis-remembering things...LOL

Funny how I love him looks and characterwise. First, a man called Jayne. Secondly, he's all big and manly (*smirks*). I can't really describe it. He's basically all that I try NOT to find in a man. *laughs* it's crazy but I truely think he's the hottest out of all the guys.

River! She's so cute ^-^ She has many good layers to herself. She's smart, has talent, and caring.

I must say, Badger is kind of cute. He's not part of my vote though, but I must say I think he is *laughs* otherwise, I wouldn't be able to tolerate him.

hi...i'm a first time poster, so be nice, k? you are all so hilarious, i just want to measure up. now, as been stated many times, this is uber-hard to do because the cast=hotties. and while wash is hilarious (the dinosaur scene, 'nuff said) and mal is probably what my real life choice would be (who can resist a good leader?), my vote is going to jayne. he's just so damn sexy.

Well welcome aboard Cageybee, don't worry about being new, everyone 'round here is real friendlylike. I mean, I'm kinda new (well to posting at least) but they tollerate me, sometimes I do boggle on the why of it but they do put up with me.

Welcome! I'm only a couple weeks new here myself, and I haven't run across anyone who isn't nice. All types of humor is welcome here, especially the sarcastic type!

menfolk: Simon, he's perfect in every way, or at least nearly pefect. Mal and maybe Wash would be interesting too. no Jayne for me. and no Book.

girlfolk: not so sure. Kaybee is cute. Inara is beautiful. Zoe is not my type. I'd say Kaylee. I'm not sure yet. Maybe Inara? No, Kaylee. if we did Buffy/Angel here it would be easy: Willow. but Kaylee is almost as cute. and I normally date men but I'm not too fixated on it. wouldn't say no to Willow, but who could?

and then again if we did do Buffy/Angel here my choice of men would be much harder. Spike maybe or Wesley or Giles? not Riley, not Xander. but we don't so I'll shut up.

hi mom! thanks for making me feel so welcome! i actually already have two moms (i have a stepmom) and three if you count my friend who i've dubbed "college mom." so i hate to make you mom number four. you get at least the three spot, my friend will just have to deal with it.

as for a lady pick, i gotta go with zoe. she's just so cool ("big damn heroes")....and she has wash, so she's definitely good with me. who can resist a guy that can make you laugh? unless its the bad boy (aka jayne)....ok, i need to stop rambling and force myself to study for my last final....the dreaded statistics.

oh yeah, and i'd say i think gunhand should at least get half a point from me (with the proposal and all), but i don't think its too fair for me to give out over one vote....so i'll refrain and stick with jayne. if the rules are somehow amended though, just let me know

If you want proof that Joss can make anything hot, though, I'd have to go with Giles. A middle aged, British, high school librarian? Not exactly your typical sex symbol and WOW. (As a library science grad student, I appreciate any portrayals of librarians that aren't little old ladies shushing people. That we got someone as cool and attractive as Giles is just icing on the cake).

As for the Buffy and Angel polls, if you don't feel like reading through the almost 300 posts on this thread, 'mom said she would, once she'd watched them. So we have to encourage 'mom to watch more TV!

2) Neroli and Gunhand need to GET A ROOM.

3) Mal needs to have more votes than Jayne. Period.

delia, i'm a librarian here at school too, and i have to agree, giles did more for our profession than i could have ever imagined. we're sexy too, damnit!

mom, you should definitely watch more tv, especially tv that is joss-involved. adam baldwin is on angel right now and he wears suits! if you need more incentive than that, i'm not sure i can help you. we need a different thread though, because this one is getting so big it takes five minutes to reload for me.

also, i'm very flattered that my marriage proposal is getting so much attention. i should propose more often!
