While we rule at TV Vote, there's another venue (TV Tally) which is not disappearing in eight weeks, and where we are getting beaten by Jericho and a Japanese manga show (Full Metal Alehemist, but it shows up there in Japanese). The voting isn't as heavy as at TV vote, so we should be able to hold off these challengers.

You can vote every six hours, but can cast six votes when you do (all for the same show, if you wish). In the wee hours, it appears that you can vote every hour or so. Not sure exactly how that works, as I just stumbled across it.

But, when I went there, and tried to vote, it only let me vote for Firefly once, and said that I could vote for two other shows, but they have to be different shows, within that six-hour time period. *sigh*

That is really odd. I've been voting six times at a shot for months, with nary a problem. Which browser are you using (I usually use IE 7, although occasionally Firefix 2 or 3.)

I'm using some version of Firefox, don't know which number. I have IE too, but I never use it, as I don't really like the layout of it.

Based on RL's announcement that he will end the Polls when the combined total votes between the Top 40 and the Nominations reaches 10 million (but no later than January 2, 2009), 46.61 (46.38) days remain to vote, based on current rates of voting (as with everything else in this Poll, this time will fluctuate).

Our ultimate goal, 750,000 votes, is 48,796 (49,963) votes, and 41.81 (40.46) days away! We're on-target, and need to maintain a daily average of 1,039 (1,063) votes to stay on track!

We'll get our next banner, for 705,000 votes, in another 3,796 (4,963) votes and 3.25 (4.02) days!

7,679,624 (7,665,765) Top 40 votes have been counted as of 07/04/08. Yesterday, 13,859 (14,228) votes were cast. Our share of the voting pie remains at 9%.

Let's remember that the US Independence Day weekend starts today, which may (or may not) result in an alarming drop in voting totals. Just vote as best you can; things will likely get back to normal with the Monday vote. In fact, for those voters who aren't going off for the weekend, this could be a real opportunity to make some hay while the sun shines! Whatever you do, do it carefully, and come back safe.
