to get it done. This is our last and only chance to show them what the
Surface Tsunami is all about. They'll be lots of other weekends, so it
won't kill anybody to sacrifice a little time and fun to get this done.

So good luck, everybody. I hope to see huge numbers for the next 2 - 3 days
especially. If we don't we are toast.

The missus and I put in 21 total votes on our IP, yesterday (as well as the 11 votes she put in from work), including Bonanza, BSG, Buffy, Jericho, Angel, Babylon 5, Ponderosa, Dark Shadows, Blood Ties, all our friends with whom we share our success. We're on a sprint for the finish, Browncoats! Let's make sure the whole team gets across the finish line!

It's all about Fan Power: Which fandom can muster the most participation. Because you can vote up to once every 60 minutes, it's not just a measure of fandom size; even a small, highly-motivated fandom, like our friends the Dark Shadows voters, can overcome larger, more "powerful" fandoms to advance.

But, it's mostly for fun, and bragging rights. Nobody expects this to get our show back. It is, however, also a great way to make positive contact with other voting fandoms; a lot of new Browncoats have been recruited through TV Vote! We've also made many good friends, as well, like the Bonanzai, who will leave the Poll with a lasting positive impression of us Browncoats.

But, yeah, we're doin' great, and after tomorrow, all our goals will be met. Then it's just a matter of extending our lead, and helping our friends achieve their goals, VOMP!

It wasn't until the Rich Labonte poll that I had even heard of Firefly. Being that it was number 1(by far) I looked it up and was amazed at the fan support that resulted in a movie! Of course, I have to see the show now, so I ordered the DVD of the tv series and the movie online. If so many of you love the show so much, it's gotta be good. It wasn't until the Rich Labonte poll that I had even heard of Firefly. Being that it was number 1(by far) I looked it up and was amazed at the fan support that resulted in a movie! Of course, I have to see the show now, so I ordered the DVD of the tv series and the movie online. If so many of you love the show so much, it's gotta be good. Yesterday, Firefly received 1,538 (1,842) votes, 304 fewer than the previous day. Shiny enough to get us there, Browncoats! Well done!

The missus and I put in 20 total votes on our IP, yesterday, including Bonanza, BSG, Buffy, Jericho, Angel, Babylon 5, Ponderosa, Dark Shadows, Blood Ties, all our friends with whom we share our success. We're on a sprint for the finish, Browncoats! Let's make sure the whole team gets across the finish line!

An estimated 3.3 (3.96) days remain to vote, based on current rates of voting. That figure may drop by more than a day with a resumption of weekday voting; expect the last day of voting to be Tuesday.

Dark Shadows is fighting hard to reach 150k, at 1.74 (2.91) days out, now TWO days ahead of schedule! DS is actually in a position to make one more pass, if they can sustain the pace, the last one of the Poll. However, with sustained intensified voting, they could still find themselves behind, again! Our friends the Barnabas Browncoats (DS voters) have made a HUGE contribution to Firefly. Assuming a modest 30 votes per day (which is just the numbers I know I can confirm), that's 900 votes per month, which, since we started working together in September, comes easily to around 10,000 votes. Without their help, we Browncoats wouldn't be where we are. Many thanks to those who are boosting our friends towards their goal!
