Ooh ... choices for images.

&& I've got a few today ...

This is from last week, I was in Lourdes (Southern France, Pyrenees) on a pilgrimage with the youth from the church in our whole area. There were 9 coaches of 40 people!!

Here is the first draft of my fancy dress costume for said week away. I won the competition! But for some reason I don't have a photo of the final 'masterpiece'. lol.

On the night, I wore a tankini top, rather than that T-shirt, and the armbands stood out more.

Cookie for anyone who correctly guesses what I was!

Finally: if random is good, these are AMAZING.

Roxy!!! That is freaky and wonderful at the same time - My Mei Mei Rose is amazing... isn't she! I love the one she did of Tot too! You should join, then we'll have lots and lots of excuses for being companions!!

Home alone on my birthday - but I actually wasn't sad at all... I was tired and had a lovely and relaxing day with just myself for company! Watched DVDs and went for a walk, went shopping (despite being broke) and made myself a pizza and had a cup cake for dinner! Yes it was a nice day...

Hey there! It's been a while since I've posted around here, I've been hitting the road a lot...

Here are some pics from my trip to NYC. I went there with my dad for... hum, four? Five days? We had fun ^_^

Here's me standing on the Brooklyn Bridge walkway. Or close enough.

That was actually pretty funny. While my dad was taking the picture, a bunch of asian tourists saw me and started clapping and giggling.

Me being all triumphant upon conquering Time Square.

Central park is most definitely a must.

Hi Moby! Those photos are wonderful! When you are in New York you simply have to embrace the experience - and you certainly did! You're a man after my own heart!

Tot - thank you so much, you are such a sweetheart! I am really enjoying getting to know you here in the photo thread... I used to hang out in Chatzy all the time, but alas, I rarely have the time for it now... I should try again some time...

This is me watching Razor which I bought myself for my birthday! I am so loving BSG...

And for another daily group - this is Tonbridge near where I live,

and the main bridge with flowers and written tributes on it as a teenager jumped into the river on Saturday night and never came up again... they found his body the next day between the bridge and the lock. It was a really sad end to a promising life...

And on a brighter note, this is me in front of Westminster Abbey - I look like I am about to jump over it or push it down with my super power, but I thought Mobex might like to see it!

Nice to see my Magda again I think I probably did a self portrait a day for a year, actually... Don't think I could do it again.

Poor Engie mei mei! I made sure I wouldn't be working for a few days after getting those teeth out. It helped that my job at the time was mostly about talking and I couldn't do that so well; kept the bosses from being too irritated with me.

Engie!!! Mei Mei!!! You are absolutely not to go to work - that's my order! You have had a seriously traumatic minor surgery... or not so minor if you had a general as my boss did a couple of weeks ago! She said it took her a full two weeks to feel ready to work again!

Please take care, and you don't look like a chipmunk (except in the way that chipmunks are cute and adorable - coz you are totally like that!) ...and listen to Mei Mei Rose!

Mei Mei! It's so good to see you here! I am sad that you're photos are still melancholy, but I am glad you're here at all! I am finding it a challenge to do this self-portrait thing already, and it's only day 6, but I used up so many good ideas here already! I could re-hash some I guess!

Here's todays, although I haven't been struggling with my depression for a very long time, I thought I'd do a mosaic about having this in my life - an aspect of me... if that makes sense...

And here's the newsflash! Hot off the press! As I was preparing to post the above photo and head to bed, Maddie came down and said, "do you want to see the kittens?" Our little cat, Poppy, just gave birth to 6 healthy kittens! We're so proud of her and so excited! They were born in a drawer under Maddies bed, and she is so thrilled that Poppy chose her room to have her kittens in! These photos are about half an hour after the last one was born!

Very exciting!

Alls well and she is a relaxed and terrific mother - although she's barely more than a kitten herself! The kittens are gorgeous! So tiny, but so perfectly minature! Their eyes are closed of course! Oh it's going to be busy here on Pear Tree Farm... like it wasn't already!

Story time.

My friend found kittens awhile back and her parents let her keep them. They are so cute!
The orange one is Bella and she actually posed whenever we took a picture. They haven't decided a name for the black one, but me and my sister called him Bruce the whole time, so I hope they choose that name.

Also, here is a picture of my eye...
You can't really see it in this picture but there is a brown spot on my eye that has NOT been there my whole. I noticed it about a year ago. and it has gotten a little bigger. Since I cry a lot I have also noticed that not as much tears come out of that eye and sometimes it doesn't really tear up at all. So...I don't know if it has to do with the brown spot or not. My eye docter didn't say anythong about it the last time I went..so I guess its no big deal. But it is really weird....

OK... so I restrained myself today, and only took about 50,000,000 photos of the adorable little kit-balls!

I also went out and took a few pics of an amazing little church not far from where I live which has 12 Marc Chagall windows in it! I almost cried when I walked in, it was so amazing! I just felt so touched by them!

And of course I took my portrait photo,

...and the family at Pear Tree Farm decided to celebrate my birthday properly today as they were away on Monday when it was my birthday proper!

Tot! Awwwww, kittens are cute! I sometimes wish I had a cat again, but there are too many allergies in this house for that, and I can barely keep up with the chores that don't have an itty bitty life depending on them.
I totally understand why you'd be finding it a challenge to take a different self portrait every day! We've all had some great ideas here, but certainly the well begins running dry.

Oh my goodness - Wakeupsoon! Not only are you adorable when you let your hair dry naturally, but I have connections near Chorley! My Grandfather was born in Bolton, and there was a great-uncle Charlie from Chorley which caused great amusement among us when we were younger! My sister used to live in Clitheroe, and I still have relatives in Bolton! My employer was brought up in Wiggan and her parents still live there! It's really a small world... isn't it?

By the way - I have lived in Kent for 4 months now and I love it - I don't ever want to leave... of course I have yet to surive an English winter so...

And my boyfriend lives in Boston, MA... just to complicate things further..
