Go ahead. Make fun of our home. We're used to it. All we ask is that you get around to us some time before Twelfth Night, and please bring no partridges, only pear trees. We are still terraforming here, and need all the vegetation we can get. Birds are on the list for after we have grown enough shelter and food for them.

Oh, and bring a few gold coin chocolate wafers.

Happy Solstice, s/claus!

Dunno what's on your radio tonight (or maybe
even TV?) but we're going to listen to the
traditional Paul Winter Consort concert for the
Solstice from St. John the Divine in NYC.
We get it on Public Radio 7-9 PM PST. If
live, that'd be 10-12 PM EST.
Hard to beat the goosebumps at the end when
they play Wolf Eyes and we all howl.

Merry Christmas all!

Here's your gifts.

The 1st one is a 3 in 1.
1st, it's a desktop background. Just right click on the image and
select 'set as desktop background'.

2nd its a browncoat certificate. Just save it
and print. [make sure your printer option is set to print in 'landscape' format].

3rd it's an IDENT CARD. Seriously, I copied it from Shepherd Books IDENT CARD in the Firefly Official Companion.
Just copy it and use your printer program to print 'wallet size' [9 per sheet].
then laminate 2 together, back to back, so it's 2-sided.
Staples does a whole sheet for $1.

The smaller one you can use as a 'signature' in all your posts.
Just save the image at a site like photobucket.com
then copy the images 'code' near the image [after you upload it].
Go to your 'my profile' page, then paste it in your
'my profile' - 'edit my profile' - 'signature'.

Hate ta be an annoying, RWED putz, nad nitpicker, and it'll probably get me on the "Naughty" list, but Bethleham isn't in Israel. It's in the West Bank, or the Occupied territories in some fashion. 'Member when the Palestinian guerillas occupied the Church of the Nativity there a couple years back? With machine guns? Held the Christian monk-type folks there as hostages?
