As you know this is the "Bluesmobile", a 1974 Dodge Monaco Ex-Police car blessed by God. I wonder if the people at DODGE knew in 1974 that the Monaco would become a legend? www.bluesmobile.net <--- Read about a REAL hero.

Ahh the Bluesmobile.
Good times and an undisputed classic.
I also have a soft spot for Bandit's 1977 Firebird Trans Am.
But if I had to own any movie car it would be the 1957/58 Plymouth Fury/Belvedere (depending on the actual car used - I can't remember) from Christine.
Of course it would have to be red and then I could hang around in streets, putting my headlights on full as people crossed in front of me and playing only old songs from the stereo.

EDIT: Isn't this thread in the wrong forum?

Bluesmobile rocks yes, but the Mach 5 from Speed Racer is what I'd choose! And if they tried to make me have bumpers on it to make it street legal, then I'd just get the Delorean from some movie I can't remember the name of right now.

Bandit works for me, one of the 3 primary ones they used for the film, but not the 2 wrecked ones. I had one of those special editions, and currently own a newer black convertible Firehawk.

I'm a Ford guy so give me either Elanor from gone in 60 seconds or Bullitt's Mustang (before the chase)

No one's mentioned the DeLorean from Back to the Future? I am shocked. So it's not pretty, but it's a time machine, doesn't have to be.

That was my thought when I opened the thread. I'd be going to the DeLorean all the way. Not to mention it can fly eventually. Time travel and flight. I'm taking the DeLorean a million times over.
Side note: someone where I work drives a DeLorean. I see it in the parking garage every day.

This is so unfair Movie/TV. It should be Movie and or TV. James Bond #1 for movie and Batmobile #1 for TV. Pizmo picked Mr Bond's ride and Rallem picked the runner up for both. But Here is Adam West's chariot.![]()

I'm mostly with Penguin on this, as I am a mopar guy.
(although for some odd reason I despise the General Lee)
So, imma throw this one in, The Condordia II from Black Moon Rising.
Although, despite the trailer featuring nothing BUT the car, it's barely even in the freakin movie, grrr.

Anyone remember Mad Max's blown black Falcon? awesome car.. and I saw it in real life a few years back, someone has restored it completely exact number plates and all. I only wish I had my camera on me at the time.

I met the original restorer of the Mad Max XB!
He got me to deactivate and modify a Boito coachgun.
To make it legal (back then) we welded up the firing pins and breach. Took out all the firing mechanism, except the trigger and its return spring. Then had to drill holes in the chambers!
It was total overkill!
By the time I got through with it, not only could it never fire again, but if somehow you managed it would have simply disintegrated!
Speaking of overkill, last time I saw that car the interior was immaculate and it had a new paint job.
It was all shiny and new!
Inside and out!
Kinda spoilt the look and feel of a post apocalyptic car!
Last of the V8 interceptors, Piece of history...
Be a shame to blow it up!

Oh yeah, the Bluesmobile is definitely in the top 5 movie vehicles ever. When it falls apart at the end of the chase and Elwood just stares at it before they take off, it's as shocking and painful as any death scene.
