I was wondering how you search for fics on this site. Because i would like to try and find some good fics of Kaylee and River being together. I read one called Adam's Rib it was good but, theres no new chapters up yet so i was hopping maybe there would be more on here.

Well, you're in the right place to search for those, If those fics are on this site, the Blue Sun Room would have 'em. You'll just have to manually search, 'cause I don't think there's a search bar.

Wow so i have to just go through each story and read their summary and see if River and Kaylee are a pairing in it..this could take a while then...

Or you could go to Google, type in "River/Kaylee", and "FireflyFans," and see what pops up.

It's an unusual pairing, and I can't imagine it's one that's been written since the movie came out. Adam's Rib is the only R/K story I've seen here, and indeed the only one I've read, but maybe if you searched LiveJournal or fanfiction.net you'd get more results.

I must say, as a person who hates canon characters being slashed together and furthermore hates River paired with anyone on the crew, I read Adams Rib yesterday (curiosity, there are tons of Mal/Simon, Mal/Jayne, Jayne/Simon out there, but little in regards to the ladies) and I thought it was pretty well done.

Still not entirely my thing because of the pairing itself, but the River canon was spot on. Plus it was easy for me to read through because I think Joss might have had River's sexuality geared towards women once sane and Kaylee I'm convinced is bi-curious (if not more) and might have very well hit it up with a cute girl passenger if she and Simon had been in a tumultuous on again off again relationship or something to that effect. (Where as with the with the guys, I just don't see it happening)

I know it's not this site, but you could try fanfiction.net, as they have a facility for choosing which character/s stories you want to search for. Not sure if they have many of this kind of pairing, but it's worth taking a look.

I have a river/kaylee fanfic, that i actually need to update as i have more chapters done, heh. Its Remember Me, if you have any intrest in it at all. I'm a fan of the pairing as well, as well as the inara/river pairing, though i see even less of it then i do of river kaylee.
