Just like me!

And since the conclusion of the last ice-age, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (located conveniently north of the American state of Montana), has been landlocked and of a significant distance from anything remotely maritime.
Oddly, sushi is still popular here, although I shudder to think just how 'fresh' it really can be!

No. Not with that last name. What I mean is, that's not an Edmonton name. It's a Maritime name. I grew up with some Fillions' here on PEI and from what I know they are Maritimers.
Where are his parents from?
...and what the frell is CIF? lol!

No worries ... while I *love* sushi, I stick with the vegetarian stuff.

I have to agree with the best ship captains seem to come from north of the border!
Chekov: Keptain, I think we're in trouble.
Kirk: Bones?
McCoy: I agree with Chekov: we're in a lot of trouble.
Kirk: Spock? And if you say we're in a lot of trouble...
Spock: We are.

Thanx again GINOBIFFARONI. However, I can't but wonder about where the Fillion clan comes from.
Come on people... where is the esoteric fan-found info? Don't disappoint me with mere guesses. At least GINOBIFFARONI is on the ball. And he posted twice!

Yuck!
Maple syrup might be all the rage in *eastern* Canada, but I don't especially care for it and am glad it isn't so easily available here.Birch syrup, OTOH, is awfully yummy but I don't think I'd waste it on anyone's execution. Besides, since we don't have capital punishment in Canada, we'd have to go elsewhere to enforce this whole thing, and with passports, travel restrictions, and so forth, it just gets really messy.
