Well, maybe not... But it sure is shiny.

I just (heh, "just"... heh) created a new Ff music video. It's about 90MB and was wondering where I might post it? Any takers?

I would host the vid, but my site is down because my hosting fees were costing me over $300 per month to transfer Firefly vids and I didn't realize it. My site is going to be down for a while until I find different hosting. I got kind of screwed last week, it's a long story.

I've been burned by a lot of those "unlimited bandwidth" hosting companies. I've found that the bandwidth is unlimited as long as you don't use very much.

No offense, but I think the best FFvid is the one devoted to River that is set to a song by Matthew Good Band.

Sorry, I don't remember the link. The only place I know where to find it is on my harddrive, in D:\movies\Firefly vids.

But there was another topic around here talking about fanvids...I believe the link was in there.

Ok, the River vid was pretty top notch. But I'm only saying that 'cause when Summer starts to dance in "Safe" it breaks my heart every single time. (An argument FOR the Fox airing order, IMHO - I don't think it would have affected me as much if it was shown earlier.)

The interesting thing about watching all these videos is seeing what clips get used for what. There seem to be two or three that are "required" to be in a Ff vid. Mal looking at Serenity Valley / dodging bullets in his first scene, The Gang on the cliff with Serenity up behind them, and River dancing. (No no no, not Riverdancing- River, dancing.)

I got all three of 'em.

I think the Serenity ~ Adiemus by Adiemus is one of the best I've seen. It actually gives me goosebumps.

As for Hosting you can try

rapidshare or yousendit

to host the files.

The first link on that page works, so just download it that way. I should change it since the .avi file doesn't seem to work anymore. BUT the Windows Media File and RealPlayer links both seem to work since the hosting is mine. :D
