lol, only because yall asked... and yes HK I still owe you River Funeral dress piccies, I promise they are coming.

I am still working on my carrier harness thingy for the wings so I cant model them lit yet.
Note to self: Independant wings while a cool idea at first = lots of slipping and wing movement that is not controllable.

Too bad I missed out on the gabbing! :) NCBrowncoat was going to give me directions to join y'all for a while, but I was too worn out to attempt it. (I couldn't even stay awake long enough to watch the episode "Serenity" in full on my laptop before I crashed that night). You both look about how I felt too that night after the all-day shoot. I was geeked-out-excited to be there, but wow... the sun does funny things to you after that many hours. "Slightly warmer than warm weather" indeed! I wonder who went through the most water bottles?

I think I drank about six (I didn't keep count). Famin (the lovely Indian lady in the fuchsia dress) said she drank seven. Truly, the only way to keep yourself from crashing in that hot weather is to keep drinking water and stay out of the sun as much as possible. (I don't know about you, but the weather conditions on Saturday in DC are mild compared to mid-August here in North Carolina where it can get and into the triple digits and sauna-like muggy.)

I so wish I could have come and "played" too! and I cannot wait to see the final results.
As a Native Houstonian I can vouch for DragonCon Saturday weather being almost a walk in the park by comparison :)

Here I am last weekend with the "tattoo" that found its way onto my arm while working on Browncoats: Redemption. I was carrying a painted vase to the original location that we lost. The sweat on my arm mixed with the paint during the long march to set, and I discovered what happened too late. Fortunately, I didn't forget to bring those baby wipes with me, and it was mostly off after a few minutes.

Hi peoples! It's so long since I had time and luxury to post any pics here! I really miss you guys and you are all looking gorgeous! Don't both my Mei Mei's look adorable!! I love your little unicorn Causal! It's good to see you here Rallem! And I love all the Redemption pics Steamer!! Roxy, you and John are so cute together!!!

Here's me in Stoke-on-Trent with my cousin who had just celebrated her 80th birthday! We are like peas in a pod and consider ourselves more like sisters than cousins-once-removed with almost 40 years age difference!!

A group photo of my family at Mow Cop where we'd gathered to scatter my great auntie Dorothy's ashes. It was a special time to be with my extended family.

With my Aussie-friend-living-in-London's daughter, Elly! Wimbledon a couple of weeks ago!

IMHO, Fox is still in the doghouse despite renewing Dollhouse. They've canceled more shows than Firefly that I've loved very much, and it'll be a while before they're back in my good graces. Let's just say that they've done enough good to be upgraded to the insulated doghouse with heating and air conditioning.

Oh my! Wakeupsoon! You have awesome taste! It's so cool that your friend made you a T-shirt! I love what it says!!

Navy! That is hilarious! There was a film made in the 50s in Melbourne about the end of the world and one Sunday my Mum remembers how excited everyone was coz they closed down much of the inner city for shots of deserted streets! It's called 'On The Beach' & starred Ava Gardner & Fred Astaire among others.

Kelkhil!!! I cannot believe what a little boy he is!! How old is he now? I was thinking 12 months, but now I think he must be older! What an adorable little man, and how gorgeous and grown up is the kidlet!! Thank you for sharing! I should write soon!

I still have my fingers crossed Li'l sis! I am hoping so hard that we both will be able to make it, but one hurdle at a time! I need to find out if it's possible for me before I start working on Frank!! I will let you know what we'd like to do!

In three more sleeps I will move to Devon! In 4 more sleeps I will start my new job!!! I can't wait!
