The wind's just a-whistlin' away out there. Boychild and pappa just went out to try with a new kite where mamma and the other one failed.

I've made the cake for tomorrow (lemon and blueberry pound cake), got the chicken, need to make the tater salad, and hope to heck the wind doesn't continue like this and blow the coals into the house making for a merry barbecue indeed! Not only is it Mday, but it's the held over cookout for Dad's Bday since this is when his two sisters could do it. OTOH, airborne whipped cream could prove amusing...

sunday afternoon bump. MY BF IS GRADIATED!!!! ^_^ *snoopy dance for the grad* and he already has a job lined up (starting in June) and theyre paying for his master's so YAY!!!!

i's so proud of him..barkeep, a round for everyone who shows up in the next twenty four hours lol

and happy mother's day to all the moms.

Well,
Had a great Memorial for my good friend Treice: 450 people; "Standing room only" in the Chapel.
A testament to a great Woman, and great friend.
All tears aside; the other great testament to my friend was the WAKE:
LOL. We jammed into the lounge of our local social club: http://www.wisehall.ca/
(One of the "group haunts" that Treice was a big part of), and shared all the "Old yarns" while a great local Guitarist played everything from Elvis to Leonard Cohen...

OK sorry folks but I shall ,yet again this week, be scarce as I have " training" scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday and have to figure out how to fit 25 open cases needing attention into Monday and Thursday as we will be out of town Friday

Thanks. It's a job as a Sales and Service Tech for a fire extinguisher and fire protection company.

The Company's office is 50 miles away but the territory they are hiring is around where I live.

I was a firefighter for almost 14 years and an EMT for another 12. This kind of work is right up my alley.

dizzy yesterday, room started spinning last night. Did it again this morning.

I am sooo hoping it's a sinus or temporary inner ear thingy.

I have the day off. The grass needs mowing on a sunny day, there's groceries need getting, and I was hoping to go looking for tomato plants. Not if the road's going to turn into the world's largest asphalt roller coaster. Ditto the lawn.
